Only about 3 more hours until TU basketball season tips off. I am incredibly excited for this season!

Question for those of you who saw the exhibition games, do Jackson gets considerable playing time early in the season?

Before the exhibition games I thought he was a definite RS candidate but seeing his stat lines, I now lean to him playing 10-12 min per game. However, I haven't actually seen him play yet so curious what others think that have seen him?

The first half of the first exhibition I thought he looked a little slow, but then he stepped up in the 2nd half, then continued it through the 2nd exhibition. I think he just may have had some first game jitters in the first exhibition.

He looks promising and I think he can definitely add value off the bench.

I'm guessing 8-12 min for now. Come conference time I hope that moves to 15+ min.

I'll let you know. With the addition of Scott and Jeffries at the 2-3 positions, I see Korita's minutes going down a lot. If Joiner is as good as we all think he will be, I don't think Jackson sees the court any more than Joseph Battle saw it last year. I think we'd have to have some big time foul trouble for him to see meaningful minutes.

I think Jackson will play situationally. He is raw, but is exciting to watch. He may come on slowly like Reed did as a freshman. He’s way more active than a lot of what we saw last year.

Hard to project injuries and how the newcomers will develop. As of now I would guess Jackson plays limited minutes come Conference time. Too many better options in front of him.

Haith likes to play a lot of people and with only 11 scholarship players available I don’t expect anyone besides Horne redshirting.

I am most interested in Igbanu. I expected him to be a # 2 or 3 guy this year in importance but Haith buried him on the bench in pre-season and no one entered the ball to him when he did come in. So against real competition, it will be interesting to see if he re-appears this year in his important role.

I must be ready for college basketball. I’m watching Spring Arbor University (MI) play at Eastern Michigan on the ESPN app. SAU up early. Lol

Eastern Michigan is pulling away from SAU now. Not sure they can close the 15 point deficit in the 2nd half.

They will be asking you to move if a season ticket holder shows up in the seat you pick. The rest of the vacant seats in 104, 105, 114, 115 will be up for grabs.

So Lafortune won't be too pissed off.

There are 800 of the students here with 40 minutes till game time. They will be bored by then.

I can not identify any of the officials. Noon games may not get the top names.

It’s not just elementary school kids here either, there are quite a few HS kids here too.

As for the refs...I️ don’t recognize any of them meaning I️ don’t have a preconceived notion of suck before the tip on them

What’s up with the white hoods? We should start calling ourselves “the druids.”
