How can Cal justify most of the things he did in this game.
Line ups have been very questionable.
Trying to run the same offensive set that hasn't worked over and over.
Playing Boston when he has shown he can not play at this level.
Not running any plays for Allen.
Not playing a 2-3 zone.
And allowing his guys to try to block 3 point shots.
When was the last time you seen a 3 point shot blocked?

Is it me or did they not switch the possession arrow? Ball was stuck in rim twice. They got it twice.
Cal loves athleticism, he doesn’t care about their skill set.
Where's the urgency? Why wait around until there's 1-5 seconds left only to turn the ball over/fire up a stupid shot? Sad.

32% from the floor. How often do we shoot in the 30’s the last few years? Feels like a lot. And we don’t shoot many 3’s. We don’t cause turnovers. What is Cal’s coaching calling card? Used to be that his teams played hard. Really can’t even say that anymore.
Where's those "objective" voices of reason? They need to preach the good news about how we can still possibly go 16-2 in conference.

Jackson is really nice defensively. But when it comes to offense. This dude is a raw as it gets. Reminds me of WCS early on.
I never want to see another mix tape of a prospective recruit dunking the ball over and over. We need players who can hit a three or a turn around jump shot. And, oh yeah, a coach who can actually coach.
It used to be offensive rebounding and getting to the line to the point where we are making more free throws than teams against us are taking.
But even that is missing here
17 turnovers and they are killing us in man to man. But they have every year Petty has been there. Think our coach would at least remember that since we dont have retuning players. Terrible game plan. Zone to stop the drive and spot up 3 should have been the game plan from the jump. He’s too Stubborn

Maybe he's keeping Boston in, knowing how bad he his, in an attempt to force him back next year lol.
Fortunately for WCS he had players around him that helped cover that up and allowed him to grow.
Getting wins in Rupp arena is not even a big deal anymore for opposing teams.
Cal's response will be that they reverted back to the first 10 games. Whose job is it to make sure they don't?
Maybe this team would be better at that!
