Allen’s travel made me laugh out loud. That was 4th grade level garbage. WTF.

He traveled at least one other time they just didn’t call it. That seems to be a habit our players develop. My guess is because nobody calls them on it in practice.

Dude they are going down and just shooting 3’s,hell any team could do that, difference is they are making them.
Do you see any reason for them to change? We aren't even trying to guard them.
Once we do, they'll drove by us, that's what they've done several times already, that's why our guys won't get up in them.

We got next to nothing in offense from Brooks, Boston, Sarr, Toppin or Mintz that half, yet what’s killing us is turnovers and defense.
Bama is good.

We don't rotate worth a CRAP!!!

Our guys are supposed to be interchangeable, what happened to "Positionless Basketball"???????

WHY do we CONTINUE to sag off of the player with the FREAKIN BALL??????

RIDICULOUS!!!

Not sure why they’re playing Alabama’s pace and tempo. Who cares if they jack threes, run sets and stop trying to feed the post.

What gets me is Bama is all up in us on offense. They know what we’re trying to run better than we do. If we get anything somewhat open it’s more of a mistake on them than something good we did.

Cal won’t change...

You could save time if you just say team instead of listing individuals.

In Allen's defense.. lets remember hes still, what, 4 games in? Basically a freshman, he's going to make mistakes like those travels that never get called on the state's best HS player.

1. Haul in great recruiting class with good to great transfers
2. Struggle because youth and transfers not being used to cals 1948 offense
3. Lose early games and cost high seeding lines
4. Go into tourney a top 5 team in the country but be a 4 seed due to losses in November and December
5. Lose in elite 8 because of youth and no shooting
6. Celebrate 8 kids TESTING THE WA- I mean declaring for the draft in which 4 will go lottery
7. Look at next years freshman class and say "He's a stud"

Rinse. Repeat.

Opponents will get hot from time to time. Sometimes it has little to do with how we defend. A team that is elite on both ends of the floor can withstand that since they are more likely to have the offensive firepower to withstand anomalous shooting

We're watching a coaching clinic by Bama on how to spread the floor & use space to get open shots. Using no sets or plays just spacing & letting guys work their man to shoot or drive & kick - rinse repeat. All against the man defense. Spacing kills man defense.

Would much rather us go to a matchup zone so we can match up three spots on the perimeter & not chase. Match up & run them off the line. In man it just takes one short dribble penetration to start make us help and start the rotation they want to get open shots. Plus were alWays having to close out on the run which just takes one ball fake to play 5 on 4 and rotate the ball for open shots. Extend the zone to outside the line and guard you area & not as easy for them to move us around out of position.

I agree that our rotation is poor, but with the floor so spread, there’s no help in the paint.
