19 to 8 run yikes that sucks on our part.

Up hill battle to craw
Bama +21 points from 3pt range 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Bunch of crap not making an adjustment.
Can not guard the ball at all tonight. Just leave the 3 point line open I guess for the rest of the game HELL why not.

Well, I mean, we can actually. We're not even trying to guard them. It’s like we are totally unaware of their 3 point shooting abilities.

They're not hitting nothing but uncontested 3s. Some were very wide open, yes. But they're hitting seemingly everything.

I mean did they not realize that's what Bama does is shoot the 3? But yet we didn't even try to guard it.

All they do is pass a few times, space the floor and jack up a 3. Not that difficult
Well, they blew UT out doing that. If you can't stop it, why would they do anything else?

We haven't even tried to take their 3 point shooters away, if we do, they'll just drive by us.

Spread floor
Breakdown off the bounce
If not, reverse ball
Breakdown off the bounce
Help comes
Kick out for 3

that’s how they are kicking our ***. they are basically a 5 out team. they have ran a couple cross screens for the post but they aren’t doing anything complex. we just can’t guard the basketball

We can either keep our man in front or stop helping. Those are the only two options

Bama has just outhustled and been more physical than UK.

Thats what this is. Alabama is playing extremely well. Honestly, this is, so far, one of the better performances we've seen from an opposing team in a while, IMO. Almost everything they are doing, on point. Shooting, passing, no mistakes, superb defense. And its not like the SEC is giving them a ton of FTs either.. 2. And they missed both.

I dont even think were playing that bad. A lot more passing.. and smarter passing. More ball movement. Less selfish play for the most part. Sure, defense needs work, and we need to start making these 1 foot shots (although how many times was Alabama drapped over our guy?)

But I dont think Kentucky was ready for a team like this. Alabama will be ranked come Monday, FWIW. Im very surprised at how good they are.

I think Allen walked because he was about to pass and his man cut behind a de, fender.

I think we're playing pretty bad. Mintz was trying to trade 3's there for a bit, they aren't getting Sarr involved on the interior and Brooks could be taking better shots

Sad thing is, they blow by us straight to the goal when we belly-up to prevent the three.

Boston and Askew both came in as shooters.

Allen is known for nothing but shooting.

Brooks can hit 3s.

We have shooters. They aren't hitting.
Not everyone slumps at the same time so, not all of them were the shooters we were lead to believe they were. Hype?

Our help defense just isn't working tonight. When a guy rotates over to help, open three.

Whoever else said it is right, make them beat us with layups. Stay right on top of them. And hope the refs call it somewhat fairly because they're not playing their best game tonight either.

Just for the record ... Dontaie Allen is the leading rebounder for U.K. in the first half, with 5, and is tied with Askew for leading scorer for U.K. in the first half, with 8 points.

gotta take the good with some bad I guess. If he’s not on the court the opponent D literally has nobody to worry about shooting the 3.
