Wheeler (15) and Reeves (20) had 35 of our 52 points.
Wheeler had three (3) of our seven (7) assists and only one (1) turnover.
Wheeler had more points than the other four (4) starters combined. Think about that !!
Wallace 1-13
Toppin 1-10
Tshiebwe 1-7
Livingston 2-6
Four (4) starters besides Wheeler were 5-36 .... 13.9% for the game !!

Wheeler 7-16
Reeves 7-13

The team didn’t “accept” this loss. They just got blown out by a team with more talent. Way more talent

There’s not way more talent. The difference is their coach and players actually think these games are important.

I don’t think it was quitting so much as it was just showing that over the course of a 40 min game this team can’t hang with the good teams.

From the jump this wasn’t a ballgame. They ran out to what an 8-0 lead before the blink of an eye. We cut into it but even at the end of half 1 it was an 11 point lead.

I’m not sure lack of trying to caring is the issue here. This team just isn’t nearly as talented as we thought they were. When the game got tight Bama had several options to go to. We did not.

We have some decent pieces on this team but early in the season we were relying on Ware for mins. Now it’s Toppin. These guys just aren’t it. They never will be.

After watching this crap, I realize that Alabama matched up well with us and played defense a heck of a lot better than we were capable of. They made our starting 5 combine for hardly any points.
