The different metrics show us having a 23-37% chance of winning. So we win 1 in 3 to 1 in 4 times. Not that far fetched. The metrics don’t account for Doom and Gloom like our posters on here do. 😂

That being said I think Cal will pressure Alabama some full court and if they start hitting the 3 ball possibly even see 5-8 minutes of Zone. Just about tip off!

I would love a win today, I give it a 2% chance if Oscar stays out of foul trouble. If he gets into early foul trouble its over quickly.

I have seriously tempered my expectations on a cats win on the road this season but I would like to see continued improvement. Sad UK fans are here but here we are.

If you really care about Kentucky basketball you gotta root for Bama today. Bama beats Kentucky and the criticism for Cal grows even louder. The opening at Texas looks better and better, and the unhappy fanbase could be just enough to get Cal to make the move on his own (whenever that might be). Then Kentucky makes a hire that A). Wants to win at Kentucky and B). Unites the fan base.

3pt defense is crucial. If Bama rains 3s then Cats better be able to match them or it’s a long day. Can’t trade 3s for 2s.

Only way we win this game - and it'll take a lot of these:

1) Bama misses 3s
2) We at least are even in rebounds
3) We hit at least 8 threes
4) No UK foul trouble (Oscar)
5) No stupid forced midrange jumpers when all else fails
6) Cal runs offensive sets that don't eat the entire shot clock and result in Wheeler flailing
7) Toppin keeps up his recent performance
8) Refs stay out of the mix
9) We hit 80% FTs

Lots of things have to happen, but I'm not confident that we'll have all of these, much less a few, go our way. I guess we'll see....

Wow, I've always speculated there were "fans" that were fine with sacrificing UK wins to see a coach get fired, but this is the first time I've ever seen someone admit it...
