If I was advising Oscar, I would tell him to start looking at the transfer portal. This isn't all Oscar's fault. His coach isn't putting him in a position today for success. He has never treated Oscar like this before. He is doing all that he can to embarrass him today. He is teaching Oscar a lesson to never call him out for yelling too much. He should know his players well enough to know that Oscar wouldn't be effective down low against Bama to which he should have come into the game with a different strategy.
Interesting take .. I doing think he's ( cal) doing it intentionally , Oscar is just getting so abused we cant play him ... I hope he only plays about 6-8 min in half 2 ... Oates PNR offense putting him in isolation on D is shredding us

Hell of an offense when your starters combine for 12 points in the first half. Wheeler and Reeves combined for 20 of the 24 points in the first half. If that ain't ****in embarrassing then what is?
Come on man if Dykes says there is nothing wrong with our offense then dang it there isn’t nothing wrong with our 24 point 1st half offense!

Maybe play oscar at the 3 & have him come off some curl screens
He could certainly put him out there with Collins for some high to low action. If the ball was passed to Oscar at the high-post with Collins on the court, he could throw to the rim off the double team to Colling playing well above the rim. This would at least prevent the double teams that Oscar is facing.

What’s your end goal here? Serious question because I don’t get the calling out of fans that have different opinions. Feels like politics.
The end goal is to point out the attitudes that contribute to the decline of our program.

I took last game off from the game thread, and I was much more happy. I did that with Gonzaga as well and not commiserating helped my post-game depression! :)
That’s probably a good move, but people are funny on here, and anybody who can joke about the crap we are watching is somebody I want to be friends with

I'm not sure of the wisdom of stating how great a game our PG has had when our total point output is 24 points in a half anyways
Dude has near 1/2 our points ... he's played well considering the ball gets stuck in his hands with 6 on there shot clock time after time after time .... its Cals fault IMO

That's another big deficiency of this team. Getting to the foul line. Even then, when they get there, they miss a lot of them.

It looks like we are becoming the Alabama of old some really good athletes that look good at times but can’t be consistent playing good basketball. This not being able to score is driving people crazy. For one reason or the other we just can’t put the ball in the basket.
