A winning record is a winning record. In the end it doesn't matter how you get there. Opponents have to start feeling the pressure, knowing that no lead is safe. Right now we look like a scary good team that is starting to jel.
Worked out great last year in the sweet 16.

I had Tom and Jack synced up. I can’t stand listening to Bilas anymore. What did the Pukie say??
He basically spent 40 minutes gagging on Nate “half my points were given to me by the ref Ament’s balls and pretending to be UT’s coach and then “good job Kentucky coming back” and game over.

We are “haters” because we accept the reality of what it is. The sunshine pumpers don’t understand 15+ point comebacks don’t grow on trees. There is no argument they can present.

I guess people can look at this both ways.

1) Good teams don't typically get down by double digits every freaking game vs someone with a pulse
2) Bad teams don't typically come back the way the Cats have.

Ultimately regardless of the swing we are probably somewhere in the middle of the extremes here.

In my 50+ years watching, I have never seen two games like the two we just saw. Incredible. Crazy. Most improbable of improbable ways to win....

It's unsustainable to rely on pulling things out in the clutch after trailing and playing poorly (again in the first half) but at least it's nice to know we (hopefully) have learned to close games out.

We must protect the integrity of home.

On to welcome Texas to Rupp Arena and a home game for the home fans. Let's put together a great game and whip the Horns' !

Bilas was almost impossible to listen to today. Every fricking reviewed foul he was certain it was Kentucky's fault even when they refs carefully confirmed it wasn't.
Just remove the L at this point and call him bias. Diluted Pukie piece of garbage he is

Nobody is calling the kid an All American, but as a Soph, playing like he is, to say he is D2 or shouldn't play is basketball brain dead. He is one of our best players, always on the court at the end of the game for a reason
Totally agree and he will continue to improve. He has been asked to play out of position for 2 years and has never complained.

I've never been there and I'm not going to post but I'm on my way to the UT board to dine on schadenfreude.

It definitely makes for quite a few Maalox moments 🤣

Comeback wins are always sweet. Add in the fact that it was against the "Low Down Dirty Snitches" in Knoxville and I'm pumped.

Wish my father were here to share the endings to these last two games with. I can see him in his chair, watching the games on the kitchen TV, probably going through half a pack of cigarettes each game.

They told Tennessee to “call me” fk Tennessee
My best buddy in the universe, a die hard Tennessee fan, I love him so. I was born one hour ahead of him at the same hospital.
I am patiently awaiting my call from him, to lament the fact that this Kentucky win stings.

Got love and respect for a few Vol fans, I am allowing for them to collectively wipe the tears away from thier face over this one.

Like I say, I don't freaking care, win no matter what, at this point. Whatever it takes. If you asked me if I would take a one point win in every game here on out ? I'd take it. Let it be. LOL

Go Big Blue !

Not sure why Jelavic didn’t get any time after the half. Williams was a non factor. Gotta keep him engaged I think with the press. Jasper needs to start at the 2. He’s just too valuable offensively. After thinking about it I’d start games with Aberdeen, JJ, Cam, Oweh and Moreno. Run the 3/4 court press with Williams on the nose. Maybe this gets us off to more energetic starts. If we’re getting pounded on the glass you can always sub in Mo or Jelavic. Garrison should be used only to rest Moreno.

If we didn't choke to Mizzou, we'd be at the TOP OF THE SEC RIGHT NOW.
true, but we still control our own destiny, we just have to win. Protect home court here on out at ALL COSTS, now.

Steal more on the road. That's it. Boy, isn't it an interesting thought, that we can actually string more together and go into the Arkansas game with the sec possibly on the line ?

One can dream, eh ? But I wouldn't be surprised. Great win today, Looking forward to seeing the in between game adjustments for Texas coming in. That is not goingto be an easy game at all.

I wasn't allowed to see the thread content but I'll sum up the content from the thread titles.

1. Barnes needs to be fired; many threads.
2. Gillespie is fixing games.
3. Kentucky bought the refs. :)
