Matchups. That goes for coaching too. Mike White is constantly adjusting in game and it usually causes us problems because Cal doesn’t.
Need to run plays for Herro and Johnson in the second half....those guys are their best bet to win and UF knows it. They are defending them well.
I hate when we're playing like this. I hope Cal knows what he's doing keeping Travis out. Not much time left to get him going before the NCAAT.

Lol. Well, a high school Coach is consistently making Coach Cal look bad or very average. Coach Cal is 4-3 vs. Mike White..2-3 in the last 5 though.
Cal will wait until 3 min to go in the game before he plays thru PJ. Not sure why but that’s his move.

This might go down as one of the more frustrating teams under Calipari. No one seems to care to take the game over and by now, we usually have that guy. Wall, Knight, Davis, Aaron Harrison, KAT, Ulis, Fox, SGA.. These guys all said "not on my watch"..

That’s mostly the PGs fault for not passing until the shot clock is below 10, not his.
Never said that, but when the announcers even say “there are 24,000 sitting here making no noise at all” then it’s pretty bad.
Exactly as should Hagans and quickley. I know Calipari is a dribble drive guy but, sometimes these guys need to pull up and take the shot after they get past the first man. Herro does. The others should see how well that works. Coaches are now teaching their players how to collapse on Johnson or who ever is driving in and either take the charge or swipe the ball. We get surrounded too often and get in trouble either making bad passes or just simply getting it taken away.
This is our team in a nutshell! When we play soft and lazy, our O struggles as well. When we are locked in on D, we look like champs!
EJ has more potential. I would have been handing them to him from the beginning. Richards is terrible. He gives it up even if he scores. He gives us nothing.
Personally I’d run A smaller lineup and just get enough it until Reid comes back. Richards is only going to hurt us.
Imagine if we actually were playing a good team today, we’d get spanked like we did @UT.

If we play with zero energy in the 2nd half hopefully Cal can switch to a zone to slow Florida down. Florida getting to the rack and scoring at will.
What’s your point? That doesn’t tell us anything. Calipari’s best team couldn’t win it all.
We miss him but also miss that sense of urgency and determination on the defensive end that last 8-10 minutes or so.
I think it would have been smart to get him in for two or three minutes here and there.
This team without Reid is what I’m concerned with because at the rate our players have been returning from injury, that’s what we have going forward. And.....this team that we are watching rn is just flat out not good at all. Sorry that bunches your panties bro.
If Cal wants a title, he knows what to do. If he wants Hagans to have a better draft spot, this game is exactly for that.
‘11, ‘14, ‘17 reached a level at the end of the season we won’t match unless Hagans makes a huge step forward and Reid makes a triumphant return. Odds are against us getting that good with an average coach, but gotta trust Cal to make it happen.
