UK won't win a title again until it gets a surplus of Herro-level guys to come back.

There's a coalition of fans on this board who counter that statement by saying the sample size isn't big enough to support that, but I'd argue that the sample size showing that you need at least three high level vets to win a title is the common thread in every title team in the history of college basketball. That includes 2012 UK and 2015 Duke, by the way.

This shite gets old.

I agree and Herro. Hagans and KJ should all return. None imo them are ready for the league except PJ and we lose Travis. Everyone else should come back.

Hagans/PG position is our weak link. Has been all year with the exception of about 6 games in the middle of the season.

When we play a team with a high level PG that can score and set their Offense up, we struggle.

IQ outplayed him tenfold today.

Schofield couldn't wait to dunk it with time running out and Bone was still trying to bury Kentucky with 10 seconds left, that's how bad people want to beat Kentucky.

I didn't really expect to win but I thought it be close. Really suck now to have to watch the rest of the games today.

Tuesday becomes a big big game now can't lose 2 in a row.

Game doesn’t surprise me. I had UK losing this one with revenge factor, how good Tenn is and no Reid. One of the few games where I’m like “oh well” because of how well UK is playing at this time of year. This is a game UK fans shouldn’t be too upset about if upset at all to be honest

There's a difference between losing and getting your face curb stomped like we did today.

UK is heading in the wrong direction, this is 3 of 4 crap games now.

I agree. We slept thru the game and of rather get refocused and ready for the tourney. I say we will win out pretty easy and win the SECT now. Get the Shite game out of the way Instead of two weeks from now.

An absolute no show of a game. Is this a championship team?
LOL, no. I got my hopes up, but freshmen crumble under pressure. Once you get to the sweet 16, the pressure is enormous.

We just saw what this team will do under pressure.

Sorry, but even with RT, we get our tails kicked today.

Just can't win it all with Freshmen when you don't have a transcendent player.

This team makes too many mistakes, misses too many free throws and chokes too much.

I expected a loss today, but we played awful at every aspect of the game the last 2 games. RT ain't fixing that by himself.

IQ at least plays within himself and doesn't get erratic. I'd give him a shot at big minutes to see what he can do because he at least shoots.

We really missed SGA today would been great if he had came back. Last year's late success cost us having him this year. Hagas has his days but SGA could lead this team to a championship.
He was a lottery pick. Get over it.

We missed Kevin Knox, Malik Monk, DeArron Fox and Bam too.

That’s all they have. Tennessee won their National Championship. Jordan Bone will get to tell his grandkids about the one game he played like a lottery pick. Meanwhile , Kentucky will go to the Elite Eight or further while Tennessee will lose to an eight seed. Not worried unless Travis isn’t coming back. To Kentucky, it’s just another game; to Tennessee, it’s the National title. Tennessee can hang a banner.

With the exception of two games this year we have fought till the buzzer even in losses. These games are aa anomalous as the 40 pt wins sometimes. It happens but we can get to the final four as easy as anyone else. We are still one of the 6-7 teams that can win it.

It's what happens when you only have 2-3 guys who can or even may score. Haggans, Richards, Montgomery are throw aways on offense. If PJW, Herro, KJ have bad shooting games you're screwed. And Calipari has no answer.
