Cals teams are just way too predictable. The opponent always knows what is coming both offensively and defensively. They almost always play hard but Cals conservative game plans leave them open to struggling when they can't overwhelm the oppponent athletically.
He’s definitely not ready to leave but we know how that goes .
Our offensive game plan, whatever that may be, has us where we are this game. We are very passive and making ourselves very easy to guard. Ball movement and penetration is non existent. Cal is obviously trying to shorten the game which hasn’t worked at all. Let the damn team attack and play and let the chips fall where they may. Piss poor game plan thus far. Will he adjust for the 2nd half? Really has no choice but we will see.
Doesn't matter. Some say he needs to go pro as demonstrated by the fans on this board who fear he'll miss out on a potential year of career earnings.
Got to think of these kids first. Yeah, we love UK and all as fans, but the important thing here is that extra hundred grand in career earnings in a career where he'll undoubtedly make at least $5 to 7 million at minimum.

The refs are allowing this to be played like a football game. Every one of our guys is being hand checked and bumped. How can you generate offense with that? I will say though we left 8 pts at the ft line which sucks but make no mistake the refs control this game and our players can’t figure out how to play through it

Thought that Cal's tweak earlier in the year ala Harrison a few years back? Pass first. If so, AH forgot his lesson.
All the weaknesses most of us have mentioned are showing up in this game. No lateral quickness to stay in front of people. Barely anyone that can go one on one and get by their man since we set garbage screens. Terrible half court offense. Poor inside game when you can't play physical. Can't shoot from the outside consistently. Free throw issues (some thought I was crazy to worry about them). So many issues that likely will send this team home early in the tournament.
Turnovers and missed free throws are bad enough but, the refs are keeping us from getting any momentum. Cal gonna get thrown from the game before it's over.
This has much less to do with Travis as it does with our lack of energy on defense. We look like a bunch of lost souls on Dee. Completely leaving the three-point line unguarded. Need to calm down and play good defense in the second half and things will be much better. At least I hope it will.
Best post of the day, with or without Reid, we weren't going to win this game. Tennessee has too much at stake after the fiasco in Lexington. I was just hoping we could be competitive.
If PJ gets called for his 3rd in the first five minutes on a cheap call I’m turning the game off.
Sometimes you gotta take a chance..it may pay off and it may not but you can't let your team be getting their *** kicked for over 8 game minutes with your best player on the bench. Trade some defense for offense..make some substitutions but you can't go all 8 and a half minutes with your best player on the bench and another one of your best players already injured. I don't give a damn if PJ has two fouls or not. Luckily this game didn't get completely out of hand but it's damn near it now.
What? The last game was a brawl. This is no different except we are shooting worse than our defense could hold any opponent.

Did you all think half our starters wouldn't foul out in K-ville? However our biggest problem is lack of a point guard. Hagans should be riding the bench.

If it weren’t for all the bad calls then PJ doesn’t sit for 10 minutes and this is likely a 5 point game at most.
I dont care where its played. That team that played in the first half wouldn't beat a 7-9 seed on a neutral floor.
