They are saying not reviewable on the goaltend (it was a goaltend)

With that being said, our entire team **** the bed and deserved the loss.

We got outhustled. But for refs to miss a call like that for a road team. And the home team to not be in the bonus until 8 seconds left while the road team is in the bonus for 8 plus minutes is complete ********.

I can't blame the refs when UK got beaten so badly going to the rim on a length of the court play. Plus in real time, that was a hard call to make. UK had no one on the block out because the defense broke down on a 6th grade level. Atrociously pathetic.

Reminds me of the Arkansas buzzer beater loss from 2014.

I hope it hurts like hell. UK needs to consider their own mortality before the Tennessee game.

I'll give Vitale a slight pass since only one of his eyeballs work, but I think even Stevie Wonder knew that was a goaltend.

You know it’s bad when only Jay Williams defends you.

“You can’t review the call.”

WHO CARES???? Remember when refs were expected to get it right the first time??

Now they get bragged on for correctly not reviewing their mistakes. Can’t make this stuff up.

That's what I don't get. If the ref said it was in the cylinder and we went to OT what the hell would really happen? LSU would report them to the league and maybe a well don't do that again. So much bs it is sickening. Regardless we didn't rebound like we should and it cost us in the last play.

What is that about? You can’t blame the ref for getting it wrong and causing the loss? We met the guy at the rim and made him miss the shot. We did our job. The refs did not.

length of the court drive to win...jesus christ...

Losing to LSU in Rupp...Cal's gonna get his green room hugs in though, so I guess we'll hang a banner for that...

I missed a good chunk of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show for that showing...they won't **** up MSG and disrespect hollowed ball ground...

Should’ve never come down to the last play. Cats played a terrible second half, too many bad shots, missed FTs plus, careless with the ball.

We out rebounded them by 5 including 2 more offensive rebounds. Poor outside shooting and fred throws cost us this game. And not getting the ball to PJ enough.

The numbers may have ended up in our favor but when we needed stops to end their run and hold our lead we didn't take care of business.

Good call, wasn’t goal tending, we didn’t block out. We played the worst game we have played in 11 games and we still had a chance to win, and should have if Travis didn’t fumble the damn ball.

Then you need your eyes checked. It was in the cylinder. True it can be touching the rim but you can’t touch it while it’s inside the cylinder. Didn’t deserve to win. I have seen people say it doesn’t matter that they blow leads because they kept winning. This game right here is why it does matter. You meep letting teams hang around and come back it will bite you eventually. All I seen the whole second half was a player standing out front pounding the air out of the ball while no one was moving trying to get open. The defense was horrendous. LSU could get anywhere they wanted off the bounce. No effort on that end of the floor in the second half.

I'm not giving the refs a pass, but I refuse to lay the full blame at their feet.

How did they get beat so badly going to the rim? Help had to come over and left the backside rebound wide open. Yes the ref missed it, but that UK defense was atrocious. Three guys had to converge due to the blow by.

The refs failed. So did UK's defense.

We didn’t choke. We got down 5 and came back. Then the refs stole it.
We missed way too many free throws and wide open shots. If this team is going to get to a final four, it has to make shots .

Baker can't keep missing wide open shots, Herro and Q can't keep missing and our guards need to penetrate and create. We were lost on offense tonight.

I mean, Keldon was 5-9 from the free throw line and 2 of those were front ends.

The officiating was awful, but LSU adapted, we didn't.

Sick to my stomach. Had felt so good that 1st half then kind of fell apart then to end that way just blows.

Going to take a few days to get over this one then on to Tennessee.

That is true. We allowed them in the lane too much. They got to the free throw line a ton.

The numbers don't always tell the full story. I was shocked when you gave the stats because it felt like they killed us inside all night. They were aggressive and battled.

I understand. But these refs don't leave with a loss. There are three of them out there. One should be watching the kid on the drive. One watching the clock. One watching for rebounding fouls and basket interference. We got fu$$ed. At home. After not getting into the bonus until 8 seconds left in half with the road team in the bonus for 8 minutes. What is the review process for officials? How does Tony Greene and his crew keep getting high level games?

Well I see the meltdown has begun
We sucked tonight but I still love my team

See y’all Saturday
I'm in total meltdown mode myself. I get down when UK loses, but I'm losing my **** right now by the way they lost tonight. 3 men just stood there and looked at each other waiting for one to blow the whistle on an OBVIOUS (screw you, ESPN) goaltend and screwed UK players and fans. Hope it was worth it for them.

I'm going to try to stay away from the board until Saturday as well. I don't want to add any more negativity and let the "Farrrr Cal!!!111!!!" crowd have their fun. :victory:

The game Saturday now becomes meh.

Playing for a chance at second place in the SEC? That sucks.
Yeah, this loss just did so much damage. Even if we beat UT, we're still fighting an uphill battle.

Looks like a 2 seed might be our ceiling now, which blows.

Lose Saturday and it's salt in the wound.

It was an offensive goaltend..no doubt about it. It's also ******** that the home team wasn't shooting free throws until 6 seconds to go in the 2nd Half and the road team was shooting them waaaaay earlier. If the ref/officiating apologists defend this, then they clearly have an agenda. UK also missed a ton of free throws tonight as well..that's on them. Still though, we lost this game because we let a midget drive the link of the floor in less than six seconds and then didn't block out. PJ was the only UK player to show up tonight, honestly. And too many times we saw PJ or Travis shooting threes when we should have been pounding the ball inside especially when their bigs got in foul trouble in the 1st Half.

LSU didn’t have to adapt like we did. Waters has zero fouls all night. We weren’t in the bonus until 6 seconds left.

I know we made mistakes. I know if we had played better we would have won anyway. But the refs also had an impact, all the way to the last play. You can make mistakes and also be affected by the refs. It isn’t an either or scenario.

I’m not sure why some people are so adamant about acting like refs didn’t impact a loss. Do you think it makes you tougher somehow? I mean, we literally were denied overtime by a blown call. Doesn’t get much clearer than that.
