Not pretty but a win. Keldon Johnson came out to play in the second half. PJ and Reid both were great. Herro had a terrible game but that's ok, it happens. I didn't think we could beat a good team with Herro having an off night on offense.
A KU fan touting regular season success. Never seen that before.
Don't know that I've ever seen a college game before where three players on the same team had a double-double. Pretty impressive, Reid, P.J., and Keldon.
his defense wasn’t “crazy bad”? yeah then there’s no convincing you. but i agree his passes were bad tonight.

Wow. That's more surprising to me than the "Herro Haters" getting mad because he didn't play well enough in their minds... yet UK still wins. Some of those people act like Herro has touched their "significant other" or something. Getting a little weird.
Kudos to the starters for their scoring.
Bad shooting night AND our bench didn’t score AND we won against a top 10-15 team.

[laughing] I remember that night. I just got home from work as my dad was leaving. He said UK was being blown out at halftime and he wasn't watching anymore of "that ****." He said he was going out with his new girlfriend. She said, "It's ONLY basketball. Who cares if U OF K (yes, she said it like that) wins a stupid basketball game?" (I would have dumped her right there.)
He got back home and I was like, "Woo... holy hell dad. You missed one helluva game."
He said, "Huh?"
I told him about how UK came back and won. "McCarty for 3!!!!!" [laughing]
He didn't believe me. When he read about it in the paper the next day he was so mad for turning the record off the VCR on his way out the door that he broke up with his girlfriend. It took him years to wait until the game was on DVD before he could ever watch it again. [laughing]
I was a kid at that time and we didn't have the channel the game came on, so I went to my grandmother's and watched the game. I got mad at that game and called my Dad to come and get me. I left either at halftime or early in the second half. My Grandmother still gives me a hard time about that.
Agreed. I would say I feel sorry for UK's next opponent after beating Kansas, but that stupid "Memorial Magic" makes me sick to my stomach.
