Lol they do need an entire practice devoted to post feeding. At the beginning of the season herro was the best post feeder, but he has become hesitant and sloppy with his passes. He needs to get back in the flow of the game and stop over thinking.

We will kill them the second half.
Hope so but we're only getting 1 of the Big 4 to really play so far. The good news is we're out-rebounding them. The bad news is we're not getting to the line 2/4 and have 7 turnovers.

Vandy is going zone with Hagans in the game also which is a good strategy by Drew.

My gosh I can't believe the team that beat Louisville and UNC has totally disappeared now for 3 games. They better hope that team shows back up for that stretch of games we have coming up after Georgia @ Auburn, Mississippi State, and Kansas

Alakat2: “We will kill them the second half”
why? which of our players are better than their players? what leads you to that conclusion?
Just wishful thinking. We can’t play any worse than in 1st half.

Pitiful performance even with the come back. This team just doesn't have it this year just like last year in my opinion. Having no inside presence and very inconsistent outside shooting won't likely take you very far.

btw, all you guys grumbling about the game are spoiling it for the people who want to come here and read how great things are

they'll let you know about it after the game
You’re right. We will probably win the game and most will feel good. But it’s starts like tonight that get your *** blow out when you play a good team ( see dook). And I feel
Dook is the only team we’ve played this year that had more talent than us.

Not a fun start but got back into it. Vandy hit 5 out of their first 6 3's. There has to be more to "other teams just shoot lights out from 3 vs us". Maybe our 3 point D is lacking I see too many wide open 3 point attempts game in and game out.

“Maybe” our 3 point D is lacking?

Yeah, ya think?

On the bright side, Vandy started out shooting 83% from the field and we have them down to 50% at halftime. Still pretty poor defense so far though.

and they still only scored 30 points, defense is not the issue

Feels like we're back in the Joe B days. Great talent. Unimaginative style and system. Similar results.

Didn’t have it last year either. This is just a continuation of that

That being said.......if we split the season in half I 100% garanteed teams will not shoot 38% vs us from 3 in the second part of this year. It will regress.

I think games like this are a combination of 1. the players aren't interested in playing hard against a team like Vanderbilt (or Bama or A&M or SIU or....)
2. Cal is giving Reid and PJ some rope to expand their game - so apparently he isn't too concerned about teams like Bama, A&M or Vandy either and 3. we don't have an alpha.

Cal need to tell PJ he’s off the team and go prepare for the draft. Because it’s obvious he’s not focused here. He’s lazy as heck!

what was that call?...but Hagans had the ball and possession...not a correct use of the rule.

So we know we can beat these teams so we just sleepwalk? So against the vols auburn and miss st I can expect maximum effort that’s good
