Refs missed two obvious calls (Quickley 3 and Reid off-ball foul) but otherwise were alright. Not worried about them at all.

Horrible shot by Herro. Our offense is bad with Quickley at point and his defense is not very good either.
Hagans is way more turnover prone and quickley never turns it over but I do think Hagans is the better player just doesn't know how to run offense as well as Quick but Hagans has been brillant the last 2 games so I would rather go with the hot player in him.

Herro has been great. The shot wasn't even that bad. UL just made a play going back the other way.

Herro has been aggressive all day. Sometimes it bites you. Part of it

wasn't bad? Cal disagrees with you completely. It was a terrible time to take that shot. plain and simple.

IDK why everyone thinks Hero should have shot that. If there had been only 3-4 seconds, sure. But with the time left, even if he made it UL gets another possession and that is the 1st thing you learn in basketball, is not give them that extra possession.
No he shouldn’t have shot it. Of course if it had dropped we’d have all been ecstatic lol
But it would have been better to hold it a few seconds longer and gone for that two; and at worst a miss would have made it a 10 point game and no thunder dunk

At least two of our drives by KJ should have been and 1. Nope whistle swallowed. Travis literally stands on the floor hit with two fouls. Hagans hit with two ticky tack fouls while he is bodied every drive. Again the quickley foul....what in the actual f*** is that call? You better believe McMahon wouldn't have been called for that. Bush league officials.

Your Cards are on the ropes. What ever will you do with the rest of your day if UK wins?

I hate Louisville. just because you see me on another board doesn't mean i'm a fan of them. i absolutely hate louisville. good lord, people like you have absolutely zero clue.

If we can get some fouls called and work the ball in to PJ, we will win by 20.

14 points scored-9 points given up=+5. So I guess it's ok to make such a bone-headed possible momentum changing play.

I've never seen you on another board as I don't visit other boards, but thanks for letting me know you post on the U of L board. Just more evidence IMO.

And to listen to one guy, we are dead in the water and it's all Herro's fault. Only a clown would say a great first half was nullified by a shot taken with 8 seconds left. [roll]

You show me where I said we were dead in the water. Or are you just a liar? Coming from you the latter is probably correct.

In hindsight, yea it was a horrible shot. But, if he makes that shot, we're not talking about it. I really didn't have a problem with him taking it as he caught in stride for the pull up.

An easy layup to make it a 12 point game at half would also have demoralized UL. Instead they get a huge dunk, make it an 8 point game, and start the half with the ball.

I'd have to watch it again but where was the easy layup? There may have been but I didn't see it same as Herro. Get over it. It was a mistake. Quickley shouldn't have let the UL guy past him so easily either. Just rookie mistakes. We're up 8 in our first road game against a solid team. I'll take that all day.

Of course it wasn't the right play, but if he makes it all of you people complaining are cheering.

Mistakes happen when guys are aggressive. Cal can say what he wants, but he will take that mentality anytime. He can be dramatic on TV all he wants, doesn't change my opinion. Herro made one bad play among a ton of good ones. Take the good with the bad

When Quickley is in at point he just dribbles in one spot at the top of the key and half the time someone has to force a bad shot. We have better ball movement with Hagans at point. Our 4+ minute field goal drought came when Quickley came in for Hagans when he got 2 fouls.

you gotta like what you saw in the first half, although we seem to lose our way a bit with Quickley and Richards in

Cunningham scored all of his points with Hagans on the bench.

There is some truth to what you say but overall this season Quickley has been much more productive in assists up until the last 2 games then Hagans turned it on. I agree Hagans is the better player right though for sure. I would like to see Quick and Herro in with Hagans more.

Where is EJ Montgomery? He's really fallen off. His defense hasn't been the best when he gets in. Maybe that's the reason.
