Rick Pitino could get more out of average or below average players. He was a dick as a person but a far superior coaching mind when compared to Cal or Self.
QG has played his heart out but new guards every year is slowly becoming a recipe for disaster. Especially early on.

Yes. I’d like to see EJ stay at least a couple of years. But I know that’s asking waaaayyyy too much from him.
I don’t know that I’d say far superior. There’s a long list of Pitino mistakes we can point out in hindsight as well. He was terrific at teaching defense. Probably one of the best defensive minds the college game has seen. Probably one of the best motivators as well.
I ain't one to jump on ....... but we be real lucky to even sniff the SEC championship ..... and I wouldn't bet on us to take regular season or tourney

Not much stuffing with it, stat sheet is lonely.
Not pretty until the SEC Tournament rolls around. Good timing though.

During an elementary school game in the 7th grade our center got 2-3 consecutive three second violations. Our coach called time out and told him "you're sitting there like a turd in a toilet". I can't help but think of that each time I see Richards on the court.
eh....not completely unexpected. just like crowds dont show up at games because its on a friday or if its raining. players dont really want to show up and play in these dud games around the holidays.
There’s enough talent on this team to be good. Can they win it all? Who knows. But they should be a lot better than what we’ve seen so far this year.
It’s up the the COACH to get it out of them and put them in a position to have success. Coach to the players strength. And that changes from year to year as new guys come in and guys leave. That’s what a COACH does. The same stuff that worked with the 2015 team may not work with this one. I could’ve coached that team.
Time for Cal to show us what he’s got when he doesn’t have a team full of lottery picks.
I’m hoping he gets this bunch going. But he may have to CHANGE.

I was called negative and told we had a top schedule when I said we need a better schedule.
none..... but maybe we get some payers back for a change......although I doubt it.
