It might have something to do with playing young teams in the ACC, but due is easily one of the best 5 programs in the tournament the last 5 years. To say they fade in March is laughable.
Because the teams in the Bahamas blew ***, and we were never down 30 and about to give up 120
None of those teams had these 3 players on them. These are quite possibly the first 3 players in the NBA draft.
Maybe the worst defense I’ve ever seen a KY team play.
I’m not gonna lie. I’m so angry that I’ve shed tears. I’d give my life if I was on that court and cal and our players treat it as if they couldn’t bother preparing for tonight
Ever since Coach Cal stopped getting the elite guys every year we have been disappointing. Then he starts replacing them with multi year guys who still leave early and that has ruined our chances of building legitimate teams. You can't build a serious contender like that. I'm betting next year will be more of the same with us on the verge of missing out on every quality big. I wouldn't be surprised if our guard commits don't sign in the early signing period after this display of garbage.
Matt Jones will still hype the team to keep his restaurant and bar full all winter.
Nick Richards is a smart one. Keep doing the same thing that draws fouls.
We have had ones on that level. Cal just didn't know how the F to use any of them. We have seen them blow up in the League after.
That team in Canada would smear us by 30. This is a pathetic performance. No effort, no balls. I am cheering everytime Duke hits a shot, because I want us to lose by as much as possible. 107-78 right now; I hope it's 122-78 by the end of the game.

Duke has one championship the last 5 years. I explained why they won that year. Have they been to any other Final Fours in the last 5 years? With the best talent, they have peaked early. I believe this will be Duke's best game of the year.
Said it last year but was ridiculed. Cal needs to take a hard look at his self. If you have a full bench of talented players you should put pressure on the other team the entire night. Sitting back on your heels and waiting for the other guy to come to you is not working.

How long till we see the first story about this being a statement of K challenging Cal on the one and done thing and coming out on top. He didn't embrace it until he saw he had to to keep up with Cal but as soon as he did he's had 3 straight number one classes and just dropped the mike tonight.
It is one game folks. Geez. Plus, those 3 will be fighting for shots in March, IMO. Just wait and watch.

I just meant the part about why the frustration appears isn't from this one game...I think many are seeing a foreshadowing of the season to come.
In addition, it's compounded by the fact the team is being BLOWN OUT by an even younger team, which is usually Cal's reason for an early season loss.
Honestly, this team will improve as the year goes on, and they will make a tourney run, but they were beyond awful tonight, and I think it's fair to just expect a lot of folks to vent...
I'm just apathetic at this point. I think Coach K is exposing Cal's weakness - if his team cannot out-athlete you, they are VERY beatable.
It's frustrating to see no offensive schemes, sets, etc year after year.

One game? These guys are doing what they've been showing for at least 2 years now. Those 3 players are very possibly the 1,2,3 picks in the NBA draft.
