Considering the majority of UK fans thought we'd get killed, that was an extremely good first half

Not the refs, that’s a excuse, it’s the players making bone head plays. After each call Cal goes after the player not the ref so that should tell you something.

The freshmen keep making........freshmen mistakes which is understandable and something they will eventually learn not to do. The fact that they continue to work hard and not be intimidated is a HUGE plus. The only big issue is they aren’t boxing out on rebounds or hustling to get the defensive board. If they shore that part up they can win this game

Every time we get close or tied, the refs take over for Kansas.

Missed the initial run to tie up the game. And missed a lot after. My Mom has had to take my Dad to the ER. Don’t know what’s going on just yet...they’re thinking some sort of infection. Mom was afraid he had had a stroke due to symptoms he’s exhibiting. I’d go be with her but they’re on vacation in St Louis.

Then they're just as corrupt as Higgins. Maybe somebody with some ethics will step in eventually and make these guys accountable for their mistakes. Coaches get fired, players get benched, why are refs the only ones not held accountable for their constant mistakes and obvious favoritism?

I predict we play well and rebound a little better in second half, but I also predict at least one Kansas shooter gets hot - either Graham, Newman, or Michauilik

That last play, Hami drew a foul.

We gotta play Tai more, because he can match the physicality down low on Azbuike and not foul.

SGA gets his hands on everything.

Quade is so steady for a Fresh.

KK is special.

Need more Wenyen. He's just active.

Good points, guys. I guess that's why he put his hands in the air. Makes sense now. "You can't call a foul on me now."..for some reason, I haven't really paid attention to how bad the officiating has been. I guess I'm too nervous.

Could not rebound at all and only down 1. But Kansas missed a ton of open 3s. Second half could go either way.

How "open" are you when your shot is being contested by a guy with a 7 foot + wingspan? This Kansas team isn't that different from last year, and it was brick city for them when they ran into a long, athletic Oregon team.

UK has Kansas physically overmatched, other than Azubuike being allowed to do his "Hulk is strong" **** without UK apparently being allowed to guard him. The potential of this team is huge, regardless of what happens in the 2nd half.

apparently you are missing all the loud conversations Cal is having with the refs. He can't just attack refs, but he gets his messages across.
Did you see and hear his exchange with the ref after Wenyen lost his shoe. He was on him.

Besides their 7 footer inside, KU looks really small..we should not be struggling to score or rebound against them.

They are. They've been playing four guard lineups almost the entire game. Azubuike is their only real inside player.

Which makes even more inexcusable that they're outrebounding us.

Could not agree more. Seth mentioned the guards getting some of those long rebounds. I agree and will add, how about 1 or 2 loose balls on the floor also!!
