I agree. Gonna be some ugliness first half of the season. But a lot of room for improvement and a lot of upside. Need to keep in mind that we are missing 2 players to injury also. For those already crying the sky is falling, Call your Dr. and get some meds. If we are playing like this in February I’d be very concerned. Right now is expected.

One thing in this game I saw and like, Whenever they got a TO on the other team, their heads were up and looked for the outlet pass. Especially to start the 2nd half.
I liked that this young group took a punch but didn’t lay down

Worse game I seen Kentucky play at home since Gardner Webb. I bet all you Kentucky fans forgot about that game

I want to pinpoint one more thing, and as I claimed I'm not a Calipari fan. But we have to be real here on the future of Kentucky Basketball.... Kentucky fans are getting tired of how Calipari runs a program. Out of the 37 years I've watched UK basketball this "appeared" to be one of the lowest attendance home games I've witnessed... The whole starting freshman get old, then leaving after 1 year... Trust me it doesn't have to be like this majority of them would stay however when Calipari recruits these guys he is telling them and their families I(Calipari) will mold you into a great NBA prospect if you come to Kentucky... Has Kentucky had success with Calipari? YES, but he has played a mediocre schedule, and now we finally see a good SEC League this year ontop of programs catching onto Calipari recruiting tactics. I just see us going downhill rest of the way. Non diehard Kentucky fans that actually accept facts and not fairytales will say the same thing.

"Worse Game I Seen Since Gardner Webb".. I'm implying since that god awful game this was the worst performance since then... At least in the VMI game they actually shot the ball well...Every stat in the Utah Valley game was horrendous.

Everybody hates Kentucky fans including myself(why i don't attend home games in terms of basketball) cause its always the ref or our team is still to young... 50% of the post on this topic will prove this....I just don't get how people support a program that is built solely on a Prep League to enter the NBA the next year... Remember that the Wall/Cousins team barely beat Miami (OH) at home 72-70 when they started in 2009-2010. I'm not going to freak out yet.
After they woke up they outscored Utah Valley by 19 points in the second half. Not bad. They’ll keep improving and when they get Vanderbilt back it’s going to get better and better every game.
