Our biggest hope is to keep hitting 3s.. More and more.. Make teams play up on us to open lanes and bigs.. Because we don't have that elite scorer/iso type this year.

Cal is stubborn he will not stick with the zone because it works and he hates it.

Cal's comment in timeout about how they could do the same in the man to man half right. They can and need to learn how to play man with all five playing with the same energy. But the reason they play with more energy in the zone is its more comfortable and easier for them. Man is harder and they get deflated when they get beat. Zone is easier to play and MUCH easier to get deflections. That combo feeds off itself for this group and its easier to have that type of energy level.

We are young. And the biggest difference this year is we are raw. Don’t get too frustrated or jump ship. We will be a better team come March. Let Cal work his magic. Gonna take some lumps. But we will be fine by March.
