Unfair? 10 fouls on both teams. But I HATE the close way it is being called. Terrible basketball to watch. They have the advantage with deeper bench.

Refs are in their "green room" checking tweets and social media and probably chuckling...at least until they saw Jay's tweet...maybe that will make them think "hmmm, perhaps a little too obvious? Maybe I'll tone it down in the 2nd half".

One can hope...

Seriously guys... quit blaming the refs!

There have been a lot of ticky tack fouls on both sides.. and a lot of calls missed, but it's gone both ways. They need to let a few of those calls go. If we just hit free throws the game would be a lot closer. I'm ok with where we're at all things considered.

What's more astounding is if - let's just hypothesize that the refs are in on it - how anyone could be on the same side as a school that cheated for years and years. I mean, what has Cal and/or Kentucky done to deserve such scorn? Why wouldn't UNC be the one they were after?

I think 2 bigs fouled Fox on the right hand but we had about 6 chances to cut into the lead. They missed a lot of shots also the last 4 minutes to keep it @5 points. I like our chances with the starters back if they can stay in the game.

10 on us, yes; but at least 16 should be on unc. And the tip-ins Bam got that were over-turned. And the bogus scrum foul on Willis as we had momentum. And the refs swallow whistle as Fox gets mugged. See how it works?

As usually is the case, the first five minutes of the second half will be telling. If they extend their lead we might be done for but if we can get on a fast run then look out.

We have to get more stops, though, in the second half.

Probably checking their banking statement from their phone to see if a deposit has been made.

There should have been a ton more fouls called on them. For instance, Bam was hugged, literally, by Meeks but they call 3 seconds on him after he gets hugged. The last play had numerous blatant fouls.

Also, when fouls are called can be huge and can kill momentum. UK was making a run and got a steal, but instead they call a late touch foul on Willis during a loose ball. UNC shoots free throws rather than UK going on the fast break.

I'm just in shock at how bad this officiating has been. The most glaring indicator of the refs intentions was when Meeks punched Hawkins in the mouth and the ref out front had to call it. The two white refs are on the take. It's too obvious.

If the officiating doesn't change I am going to have to turn the game off. I don't want to break the screen on my TV. I have never seen such BS in my whole life. They call an over the back on a rebounded shot and take it away after Meeks was hugging Bam? WTF!!!!!!

ESPN had us 56% to win to start now down to 35% but it feels more like 15% chance the way this game is going.
