This is expected. He is there right now to give others a breather. I wish he were more than that and I think he can be. Just not this year.
Agree, when Hump is on floor with Bam...Cal knows Gabriel is giving us nothing.

Blast me all you want but Bam isn't ready for the NBA. He may have the body but he plays too timid against competition that is his equal or size. He needs to get going and get rebounds and put back dunks for the second half!
Of course he isn't ready neither was Skal but these guys are going to the NBA.

Because we're playing tight man and close guarding the 3 point line.....BUT, it gives up all those easy dunks in the middle we've seen. Pick your poison; myself I think Cal's onto a good gameplan.

I'd rather give up a 2 point dunk than have them raining 3's on us, like they certainly can.
This is true.
Has UCLA been held below 35 in a half all season? That's pretty impressive defense. Hope it holds up.

IH can't be any worse than the combo of Willis and Gabriel.
I think Humphries gives us the defensive size we need when UCLA has their big guys in. Need Willis to score though. But not if he's giving up more than he's making.

Bam has struggled all season when he goes against someone taller and just as big as him. Walsh has 2 inches on him and weighs about the same.

He did pretty well in the first meeting. Would like to see Welsh get a quick foul in the 2nd half.

He's getting double teamed. Won't be the case in the NBA.

Good game plan IMO. We can keep it close by limiting their 3s, as long as we aren't cold. If they start hitting 3s in the second half, it is gonna be dicey though.

This is a final four game, just like all our sweet sixteen games are.

Surely you are not insinuating the NCAA would ever exploit a team (or teams) for a favorable matchup in an attempt to increase TV ratings? And in the process increase their bottom line when student athletes are involved? That's just ludicrous and I will not listen to such drivel! Good day sir.

I said good day!
