Went zone and gave up a layup down the middle first play.

I realize that. But, you have to let it play out. That's the same as pulling Mulder for making a mistake without a chance to get going.

My point is that he only pulls it out for a few plays at most, then changes right away.

Not saying it would have been a silver bullet or anything. But, we are getting ABUSED ON MAN TO MAN DEFENSE. CANT BE MUCH WORSE.
