and also ran back on defense, let the player drive the baseline, and let our other players catch up so that they can block it at the rim. (Whether they would have blocked it, is a different story..)
Could be due to opposing SEC coaches scheming to take his advantages away. Cut the head of the snake off.
If I were an opposing coach, it would be priority #1 for me.

It's absolutely astounding to me some of the fouls we get on our big men vs. what other teams are allowed to do. And they always seem to come in bursts when we're pulling away, juuuuust enough to keep the other team close to that, you got it, spread.
Maybe none of these refs are gambling on the game, but I'm sure they know what the spread is, and for whatever strange reason, they seem to try to keep the games near those spreads. Vegas is almost Nostradamus-like.

Nope but making shots can. UT is a tough match up for us so making shots is making shots but I doubt we hit 8 3's in a half more then maybe 1 more time this season tops. 4-5 sure but 8? No.
That was about as fluid a half of basketball as we've been allowed to play in a while. Thanks for not getting in the way, referees.
