Our offense has no rhyme or reason. Not running your offense to get Monk the maximum amount of shots is MIND-BOGGLING!!!!
The hyperbole gets old on this board. I can remember numerous ugly halfs in the NIT season worse than this one alone.
I said in an earlier post that we are playing really badly, but one of the reasons we have scored so few points, is that we have driven it to the basket, and gone inside a lot, with few fouls to show for it. I am not using bad officiating as an excuse for our bad play, I am saying the referees are calling a bad game. If you think that we have had a fair whistle, then ok.
Our zone sucked the soul completely out of us. We just can't play it for crap. I hate that damn defense. It's designed for lazy basketball teams.

The thing is this is the only school in the country where there's no possibility of him returning next year.
At least one had to be bad when we lost to Gardner-Webb.

I think we are fine. we are still looking to get 3 guys into the NBA in the first round, which will be a huge day for our program. We are changing lives and thats so much better than wins and championships. Players first guys.
Needs to go small ball and post up their guards with Briscoe and Monk in the half court. Surround them with Willlis, Gabriel and Mulder who can make 3's.

If Monk isn't lighting it up offensively, he's a liability. He does nothing else to help. Defensive liability and doesn't rebound.
Cal ripped more *** the year we lost the first game of the NIT. Cal ripping *** doesn't always work so well. This team is dysfunctional as hell.

It's really pretty simple. This team seems to win in only two ways. We either score a butt load of points in transition or Monk goes unconscious from the perimeter. If one of those two does not happen, we can't beat good teams. We simply do not have a half court offense. I'm not sure if Cal hasn't put one in or our players are too dense to run one. Of course it doesn't help when you do not have a go to post presence, and Bam certainly isn't one. It's either a dunk from right under the basket or nothing. How has he not developed a single post move all season?
It is probably a novel concept but would love to see our guards penetrate then throw the ball to a shooter on the perimeter occasionally.
He has the ability to be a great defensive player. Hard to figure why he so weak on D.

That was pretty pitiful \. Don't know if I'd call it 'no heart'. At the end we were getting so desperate to get a rebound we were knocking each other over leaving the rebound for the Florida players. If they can calm down, maybe they can come back in the second half. They can't continue to shoot that badly.
