Briscoe 1-6 and Fox is 1-4. That is the problem. That is 10 shots Bam should have gotten half of.

We need to do something to change the pace and cause more transition opertunites.

Agreed. They are actually playing like they have all season, not out of their minds. They are always less talented than the rank teams they play but they have almost people a couple because they ALWAYS play hard
I understand Briscoe playing like ****, but Willis, Fox and Gabriel also combined 3 for 11 while Briscoe 1 of 6. 4/17 is not good.

You are either watching a different game or know nothing about basketball. Refs are consistently bad for both teams. Our lack of effort is the culprit. Not the refs. Give it a rest.
We're taking (and missing) WAY too many 3's. We're rebounding poorly. We're playing terrible defense. And we're missing too many free throws. Other than that we're looking good. LOL
Only an uneducated fan would blames this debacle on officiating.
Out Rebounded by 6'5" crappers,especially giving up Offensive rebounds allowing Vol putbacks has killed the Cats,if they can't hit jumpshots from outside,I'd say it's time to either pound it in to Bam or hit some short floaters or mid-range jumpers.Can't win bricking threes all night
The one things the officials have sucked at is all the missed fouls committed against Bam, and there have been many.
No question Briscoe has regressed last few games. Seems to be pushing it too much. Seems to be playing for himself only at times and too unselfish at others.
But he has not contributed anything of substance and has hurt us overall. At this point I would take the aforementioned Willis/Gabriel/Bam with Monk/Fox and be happier. Willis needs to at least pay attention on defense and we may be better that way.

This. Can't have it both ways. I think the refs are foing a good job in this game. This is better than the dam foul fests we've whiteness all conference season long.
Maybe if we had hit our free throws and not let a bad team score 39 points we would be winning.

We're down 5 points to a team that shot 4 times better than we did from the 3, better from the line. We did shoot better from 2. I really can't see us shoot anywhere near that bad in the second half.
Doesn't matter if we pass to him. He is posting up 10 feet from the basket. He struggles once you get him out of the paint. I don't think I have seen him post up with a foot in the paint yet.
It's unreal how easily they've been able to penetrate right to the hole for easy jumpers.

UT was allowed to foul on getting position for the rebounds. We couldn't get offensive rebounds because Adabayo was shoved every which way possible. Sometimes while in the air. Pretty ridiculous calls on a lot of that action.
Recipe for an upset: raucous crowd, favorable officiating, cold shooting, poor shot selection, missed free throws. We are luck we aren't down double digits.

and he only had 1 turnover that half
that being said, he's not shooting for squat, right now, and only has 2 assists. To be fair, though, the other two guards only have three between the two of them
