We need games like this to remind us that 40 point wins aren't going to happen every game.

The refs could put their whistle down some in the second half.

Did you like how Cal totally skirted her question? What did you like about the offense when Monk was on the bench. Cal talks about how bad we played.
I absolutely despise Doug Shows. There is no flow to this game because of that jerk and his inflated ego cause he thinks we have paid money to watch and tune into his sorry worthless ***. He's horrible and our defense sucks. I can't stand Mike Anderson either.

Which is worse Fos 3pt shooting or Bam FT's..Both have to change if this team is going to do good things in the NCAAT..Fox is shooting like 11%..How in the hell is that possible?
Monk in foul trouble. 7 turnovers a lot of them plain stupid plays. Arkansas has at least 10 second chance points. As bad as we've looked we're still up 3. I'll take it. Just play a little more solid in second half we win pulling away by 15.

The panic is amazing on this board. Every game isn't going to be a 40 point blow out. I don't expect an 18-0 SEC season either. I am thinking we should win all our home games yes but it is not a lock. We will have some tough games like this game so far. Also it is only 1 half let's see what happens in the second half. A win is a win if it is by 1 point fine or by 40.

Another thing good in the first half, Briscoe has 5 rebounds.
Arkansas will end up being a top 6-7 seed . They are good. But they aren't playing well tonight it is the refs mixed with the atmosphere IMO causing this. Arkansas and USC would beat UK at home right now but that is moot as UK ain't going to either place this year . Finally UK gets a break in the conference we own LOL .
I don't know why the SEC has the dregs of officiating,but every game we have either a UK Hater or incompetent POS officiating.Doug Shows is a special subject,but in language not suitable for the internet
Simple observations from first half:
1. When Monk is not an n the floor we are very average.
2. Bam still not getting enough touches. He is 2/3. His FT shooting must improve too though.
3. Briscoe needs to penetrate and look to dish. Folks on this board are in denial about it, but he has been terrible against good competition at the rim. Cal himself alluded to how many of his shots are being swatted. Today he is 1/6 from the floor. 3 attempts were blocked and two attempts had no chance of going in.
4. If Hawkins and Humphries play more than 8 minutes per game, our chances of losing increase significantly. These dudes would never sniff the court if they played for other blue bloods.
