Uggggh. These endings to the blowouts are so ugly and disappointing. Definitely Coach Cal's worst team here at letting way up at the end. I guess that isn't too big a criticism since we blow teams out so much. Someone should look up the end game stats to see how much it messes up our numbers.

Still a pretty nice line. 9 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals, 1 turnover.

The best stat in the box score is 0/1. That's what both Briscoe and Fox have done from the three-point line. Hopefully they attempt no more threes than that every game.
Just 1 turnover is very good. Guess I remembered the one because it just happened. He does take some loose shots though, and Cal is giving him a long leash so he can develop. I'll give him props on his assists.

It's a good thing Alec Peters didn't use the graduate transfer rule. That dude could have made a huge difference for a 2nd tier national title contender. He's an impressive player.
It's too bad he didn't transfer. He's the exact type of player that could hang 35 on Duke and send them home in the second round

Defense was little better. Still not close to our potential. Better effort rebounding.

Really not a bad performance against a quality team. I thought that Cal would concentrate on defense tonight.

Peters is truly impressive; especially considering that he gets very little help on the offensive end.

Nice bounce back from the UCLA loss. Good game by Bam, Briscoe, and Mulder.

Calipari looked ticked at the lackadaisical play of some of the players. They will get better....

Based on post game comments.. I'm telling you.. Cal may be upset with the UCLA performance in some areas.. But he couldn't care less about the loss itself. He knows freshman need those wakeup calls.

No Flintstones reference for Bam all game. That is a first this year. The announcer probably didn't know that fact since he didn't even know how to pronounce Adebayo all game.
I was wondering who the f** agebayo was for awhile, had to see their roster to realize I'm as ignorant as he is saying that out loud.

It was okay performance by everyone.

Mulder started out not so hot, but finished very strong. Nice job on him.

Love that Willis is shooting a lot today, i know he missed. However, it's better than that hesitant Willis. He has to carry over to big games those confidence.

Anyone know why Willis didn't see the court the last 10+ mins of the game? He hit a few quick 3s after coming in for Gabriel in the 2nd half and was taken out soon after, never to see the court again. In the dog house or Cal just getting Gabriel/SKJ/Hump some work? Willis been a bit off to start year (and has a bum shooting thumb) so you would think you'd want to keep feeding him when he's getting hit just to boost his confidence
