I don't think we played that well.....Williams has one move to the basket and we have struggled with it.

We have had plenty of open looks, so we better quit wasting possessions.

I always hate when we play just to get to the half.

Attack Williams!

We got this game. Just gotta hit some shots. Probably need to go into Poythress. They don't have an answer besides flopping. He needs to utilize the pump fake though.

We should be up by 10. But I'm still confident.
We went to Poy early and he gave us nothing. Indiana is gettable inside but our guys have to execute!

The reason our gaurds are struggling is we got almost nothing from Poy and Skal. Indiana knows Lee cannot shot so they don't have to cover him and there may be to many good athletes on Indiana for Willis to have a significant impact. And when Dom is on the floor IU is not concerned with gaurding him either so there whole defense is geared towards Ulis and Murray. Have to get a inside game going to free those 2 up. And need much better defense.

Jason, honestly I think we should be winning easily. IU does not impress me.

Oh, I think that's still possible, but will take Murray getting red hot. Short of that I think his one's a nail biter.

Indiana's pretty good, folks.

Ulis and Murray are a little off, but they were the first game, on these rims. Hope they come out of it. Tyler missed a couple of open 10 footers that he will make 19 times out of 20. Refs hurt us a little in that I think we had about 12 team fouls, and half of those are offensive. If you drive the basket, and can't get completely clear of the defensive man, they are calling it an offensive foul.

LOL there are always a few idgits in these threads. WE lead for the entire half practically and played well despite horrible offensive calls. Same line ups we have used all year.
You werent paying attention then. Not the same mix on the floor of guys. Some of that late was due to foul trouble. We should be up by 7.

It's frustrating because you can clearly see that we're better, but because of our guard play and the stripes, we're down one. Ulis has some points, but he's also making some mistakes. Our bigs aren't doing much either.

i think iu is tired. i think we got this. i hate when we are cheated by officials. i hate it when in the same game we shoot ourselves in the foot. and we have in little ways. we are clearly better than this team lol. yogi can play. has made everything for them possible minus a couple transition plays by williams.

He can't guard a statue.
Yogi went by him and scored. That is it. That is the only points he has given up. Yogi has blown by Ulis at least twice for lay ups. He is quick and good. Please get your head out of your *** and know what the F you are speaking of before you hit post. Dam

First part of the half we played well. Second part of the half they played well. We need Murray to get open or pass. Driving in traffic is not his game. We need to defend their guards better too. It was way too easy for them to get to the rim. Move the ball better and play good defense and we'll be ok.

UK took just three 3-point attempts, two of which came right at the end.

Foul trouble was a bit of a story in the first half. For UK, Ulis, Murray, Briscoe and Poythress all have two fouls.

Before #4 went to bench, he had a hold on Murray's jersey every play. Don't know how refs missed it, one time it was pulled all the way out.

I saw Willis pull up on a set when he acted like his ankle was bothering him and that took him out of that play.

Hate to see the missed FTs or else we'd all be content with that half.

This is classic tournament Calipari. He is not the same coach in the tournament that he is during the season. Just the dumbest moves.

And ONCE AGAIN free throws are hurting us in a tournament game. Happens every damn year but yet it must not be that important.

Ulis wasn't as bad as you think; he's the leading scorer - numbers aren't horrible; they just hit a few threes
ou all think -
I like that IU has already taken 11 threes and only hit 3. In their last game they were 10 of 16. Hopefully we'll maintain our defense but loosen up some on offense in the 2nd half..

Rediculous offensive fouls. Half of those go the other way or no calls and we are up 6 or 7.

Tyler missed a few bunnies that I hope he will make in crunch time.

I think Murray/Cal had a good gameplan early. If they are gonna ride your jock, drive. But instead of dunking or attacking the rim like he did the first 3 times or so, he started trying to make space in the lane with his arm. I think those calls were iffy but he is giving refs the chance to screw him. At this rate it is better to drive in and flail your body after you put up a shot, at least it makes it more questionable in the other direction. Kick outs work too. Especially to that Willis guy. Would like him to show up.

Did I mention anything related to that? All I mentioned the broadcast wants Indiana to win, especially after Grant Hill was going nuts about a call he thought should've been called an offensive foul at that time.

I am very well aware how horrific our team has played today.

Not sure how many more offensive fouls that they could have called. Every other foul was the offensive variety. You could tell they would not let us get to the basket.

Are you related to Willis? I've seen you pop up and defend him in several threads whenever anything remotely negative is said about him, yet you don't do the same for other players.
