They shot 8 3s to our 5. They shot 27 non-3s, to our 29. Our frontcourt has 12 pts, only 4 of which came off jumpers.
And we kept turning the ball over and taking bad jump shots. I can see a couple more fouls called on UF but we are more physical on the defensive end….. But we don't seek contact on offense.

Four times as many fouls and four times as many turnovers.

But how can any team have sixteen times as many free throw attempts?

Them having 16 times as many free throw attempts implies that UK actually had a free throw attempt. Kentucky did not have a free throw attempt.

I just realized why Poy does well in the tourney
he doesn't have to put up with this kind of BS officiating and can actually play
I had a theory that the officiating gets into his head and he shuts down - this thought supports that

We're not playing great, but I have a hard believing UFs bigs aren't bumping and grinding down low like us. 16-0 in FTs is pretty eye opening. Were just in insane uphill battles on the road.

Chalk up another L. No way they are letting us get out of their with a win. I swear we should just forfeit every game from here on out. I'm sick of this $RE$%#.
LOL we will win this easy. Calm down . WE shouldn't of let them score those last 2 baskets but in the end they do not have what it takes to beat these team unless both Poy and Willis were out .

Man, I think Wisconsin may have literally ripped my heart out last year. I can't even really get that riled up now.

Florida averaging 20.1875 fouls per game in conference play. Low number was 13. So they're on pace to have half as many as their LOW number of fouls in conference play this season. Blows my mind. And it's not like we're jacking up 3's all game. I've held my tongue almost all season, but this is ridiculous.

Why should we seek contact when we don't get it called when they do? Ulis gets hit on a 3, not called. We get bumped on a drive, not called. Over the back on UF, not called.

at least three of those turnovers should've been fouls - maybe 4
Yes, there were a couple of bad turnovers, I agree
And, a couple of the fouls called on us were head-scratchers - but, really - the problem isn't that those fouls were called, it's that the same thing wasn't called on UF. I know we all saw several over the backs that should have been called, and the way our guards were hounded on the perimeter. I know Tyler was fouled on that three pointer he made - and there were a couple of others.

every team is "the last team in" when we play them. pretty funny. we certainly won't be rattled in a tourney situation. and we know ulis nor poythress nor lee would be in a ff situation. we can't hurt ourselves down the stretch. we need a workable seed. these are all must wins imo. we'll see what we got should be a loud second half.
This unbalanced schedule is complete bs. We got hosed this year.

I try to hold back in regular season games. They do not really matter much most of the time for UK. Now once the NCAA Tourney gets here...I get a bit feisty. I agree after the Wisconsin game last year hard to top that in terms of disappointment and anger.

Ulis was not fouled. His wrist can defy physics.:flushed: That was typical.

Listen the refs in this conference hate us but I don't think they can do enough to help UF to cause them to win .And they won't try to fuct us at home in the final home game . So we are almost done with the shadiness for this year. Next year we will be so talented it won't really mattter what the refs want to do.

Cats shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, Gators shot 34 percent. Four blocked shots helped

Sorry I refuse to join your refs bitching party when it's clear we aren't drawing contact with our fade away jump shots.
You should probably watch closer.

Didn't say a word about the refs. Just arguing your ridiculous statement about not driving the ball. Pay attention.

Fouls aside, Kentucky could and should have played a lot better those last 7 or 8 minutes.
agree
but you do have to wonder what our guys think when they know they've been fouled and it doesn't get called. If it were just this one game, ok - but it's happened all season.

Well, this post just sealed our fate.
Sorry Cane but the opposite of what you predict usually happens.

We have been sloppy, but the defense can afford to be very aggressive when they only have 2-3 fouls.

I honestly don't feel like the officiating in this one has been as bad as in some other games this year. However, a 16-0 ft advantage for an inferior team over a superior team is inexcusable

in "down years" maybe we should find a way not to get vandy, a&m, florida on the road to end the year, with the wests' most talented team for the final game. they are playing for their life reputation lol. we win these we will get crazy confidence. cal probably likes it. secretly.
