There is no coaching by either coach. This game is just the opposite of last night's game. I don't know what this team has been doing since the game on Saturday, but they certainly did nothing to prepare for this game.
People want to know why some fans think cal isn't a great floor coach?
When you recruit players who can't shoot at all, then let them jack up shots night after night, it tends to reflect your coaching.

Fans crying about Willis put back miss .. at least he got an offensive rebound . And Cal yanks him . While Briscoe takes yet another ill advised 3 .. at what point does coach tell him he flat out isn't allowed to shoot the 3 ?
Yep, with the many UofLOL fans posing as LSU fans because they are pathetic human beings.
Cal has no clue what he's doing. But when you recruit a team that has absolutely no roster balance this is what you end up with. A mish mash of weak, soft players that can't shoot at all.

These freshman are not one and dones. That's the problem. Murray could play in the NBA but the rest... is very questionable. But you know we will have a mass exodus.
The funniest part is Johnny thinks he's actually doing a good job tonight. LSU is terrible, they just happen to be playing a team that couldn't beat most mid major teams tonight.
We just have zero offensive flow right now. Doesn't help when our frontcourt decided to take the night off too.
Yet it I can't say LSU deserves it either. One of those games where perhaps both teams deserve to lose.
One of those times you have to call Cal out. It's rare.. But he just doesn't have these guys ready, and is placating to the wrong guys.
Briscoe is really hurting this team. Cal likes him way too much for toughness. He is skill-wise a really poor player right now. We r not good enought to afford playing him no matter how high he was ranked. Hawkins has to get his minutes going forward.
Poythess/Lee go for 4pts, 6reb and 10 fouls - nice game fellas, way to show leadership.
