Cal is a smart guy. He will develop a plan with this group before it's over. It will take some losses to get there.

He figured out the 14 team sucked but was big and we ended up getting to the final four by having the Harrison's and Randle lower their shoulders and ram their way to the basket.

He figured out the 11 team sucked and pick and rolled with a big white boy and exceptional point guard, without a kick out shooter in Lamb.

We'll see what he comes up with this year too.

The difference between OSU and UCLA is that UCLA is a lot better team. Despite UK's pathetic play, OSU will give UK chances to make this a game if they so choose. UCLA was pretty consistent at scoring in the 2nd half and we never really had a shot despite scoring so much in the 2nd half.

Murray's confidence seems to lie in his weakness, for whatever reason. So many mid range floaters and finger rolls. Not sure he's ever made one.

I assumed going in to the year that we wouldn't be a real threat because we were built on guards and thin bigs and wouldn't be defensively tough enough to win it all.

That said I thought it was going to be a blast because we'd be able to shoot and run and be a blast to watch all season.

I was wrong. They are actually decent on defense and wretched on offense.
