I'm very upset by this game. This team just has a long way to go, will they get there by March? I really don't know. We lack an inside presence and rebounding is atrocious. The free throw numbers is embarrassing, no other way around it. Too many glaring holes for me to think we're a top 10 team.

Wva 2010 followed by the NIT loss. This is a December game so no, it's not the worst loss in the Cal ERA. I get it, we're all pissed iff. I just dropped 10 F bombs but lets keep it in perspective.

Skal is such a liability. We made a run in the second half, he sets a screen on his own player, then gives up 2 offensive rebounds on successive touches. He just kills all momentum, has no IQ, no passing ability, no rebounding, no offense, out of place repeatedly. I dont care if humphries or tai arent ready. They will at least give you more than skal has. I think this is cals ego attempting to get skal to fight and play to his ranking/draft projection when he isnt going to. Cut our losses. Play players who compete and contribute. Heart goes a long way in sports and skal seems to have none.

After the Duke game, I felt really good about this team. But goodness. We are just not there on so many aspects of the game. Too much one on one. Even when Murray was bringing us back, it was still one on one ball. We let easy rebounds slip through our fingers. Miss easy put backs. Very little hustle or fight, for most of the game. Really stupid mistakes over and over again.

We are looking at double digit losses. And probably have to fight to get a NCAA bid.

I agree, and I will say this, at least up to this point is apparent Skal is the most over rated player Cal has ever brought in. He brings NOTHING to the game, NOTHING. I don't give a damn about the prospect of it hurting future recruiting, ( it won't), Skal should be on the bench, bottom line.
