If they named a thread on rafters "Venting on the BB game today", it would read the same as ones named like this one. So many posts and FEW read them.

Seems like when one or two players can't hit from three point land, nobody can, why, more often than not it's like this, we have a team full of all Americans and can't hit sh** fro the outside. Is it because Cal wants them to penetrate so strongly or what?

I'm just shocked at all the "we suck" posts; we do NOT suck, we have the talent, it's just a matter of everyone getting on the same page.

There's no way we continue to shoot so horrid from 3, and Cal has proven time and again he molds his teams to peak in March. You KNOW he didn't expect Skal to come out and play so timid, and no one could have predicted our shooting woes, but I have faith in this team.

Almost getting doubled up in rebounding. Where is the team that easily beat Duke?

Duke is the anthesis of us. A VERY basketball skilled team (dribbling and shooting) but their dirty little secret is that they are actually a sub-par team athletically. We are a bunch of super athletic guys that have very low basketball skill. The two teams that we have played UCLA and Arizona State that have comparable athletes to us and we have struggled mightily. We used our athleticism to torch Duke in transition and on defense to protect the rim from Grayson Allen. Now that we are playing similarly athletic teams it is a struggle for us.

Lee sliding belly first across the floor looking over at Cal before the ball even goes out. Playing scared doesn't help.

Cal is going to try and win yet again with driving and foul shots.

In UK uniforms.

With so shooters.

So capable of so many championships, but damn I'm afraid this kind of thinking is going to stop it. A coaches ego can be a very bad thing.

Any team we play should put Skal in the pick and roll. They will get good shots or fouled every possession.
