It's very hard to execute anything when you are not allowed to move without 6 arms smacking and holding you.
Quit bitching about the officiating, the officials aren't leaving UCLA shooters wide open and letting them get to the basket.
I've seen hands all over Murray quite a few times when he had the ball dibbling with No Call,probably gets frustrating
Murray is the most skilled player we have, but he plays too much like he's playing a pickup game. Way too loose with the ball, circus shots, etc. If he settled down and played disciplined ball, we'd be a lot better.
I hate to complain about the refs. But ucla constantly travels. I can accept SOME of the holds and fouls, but to catch the ball and take 2-3 steps without ever taking a dribble is just mindboggling
But they did allow Welsh to stay in the game after a cheap shot on Lee. And have basically taken Poy out of the game.
That game was basically on a home court. Young teams tend to underperform on the road and overperform at home.
I will say Cal wants to win, but he's going to let these kids flail and if they lose its a teaching moment. When Murray allowed the last 3, he just waved his hands and sat down. No yelling, jumping... He knows a loss here can help his team overall.
