This year, Ulis may well prove to be the best sub-5'10" player to ever play the game.
Might want to chill on that a little. Yes, Ulis is really good, and missing on Emmanuel Mudiay is looking like an absolute Godsend. But..

There was this guy.

And of course, Muggsy Bogues did pretty well for himself in a 13 year NBA career.

We aren't shooting as well like last time,

but now we are pounding it in. Ulis and Murray is great. Briscoe started strong, made some silly plays.

Willis made one bad play, but everything else been fantastic.

Skal is benched....i think

but POYTHRESSSSSSSSSS so happy to see him. He's a beast. hahahaha i missed him so much!

I assume Skal is on the bench due to foul trouble. I counted at least 2, but its an exhibition game so half paying attention to that sort of thing.

Definitely started sluggish - a little disinterested. Poy is playing with confidence; that's been my biggest concern for him. Skal made some silly, freshman mistakes. Ulis is the man. Briscoe needs to relax, but love his hustle. Willis playing well, he needs to keep it up. Lee is being Lee. Murray - OMG

btw, I love the press

I love this team

gonna be a fun year

Maybe we should do like the Louisville fans and refer to the players with with 'cool' abbreviations. i.e. we could call Alex Poytress as A-poy.....then there's .Ty-u.....Ska-Lab.....j-mur...maybe refer to Cal as CJC.

Alright, 2nd half starting. Immediately went to Skal in the post. Missed the hook, but was able to tip it in. Then he picks up his 3rd personal on the other end. Liked his post up though. He was aggressive with it, and he's rebounding with authority.

The dribble drive looks almost as good as when Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans ran it at Memphis.

Murray with 16 pts 5-8 from the field. Looks great! Will lead this team in scoring.

Skal's post game is already improving. Nice hook. Think they should definitely feed him in the post as often as they possibly can against these weaker opponents to get him ready for the big boys. We already know what our guards can do.

He made unnecessary pass to Ulis. He should of shot that midrange shot. He was wide open, and he's skilled enough to make that shot.
Yea he overpassed but it did not lead to a turnover or anything. He should of took the shot. He is playing really well. I would not single that play out as a bad play. Briscoe falling down trying to split two defenders would count as a bad play. That half is the best I have seen Willis play since the Bahamas.

Mulder hasn't played, has he?

i think him and Humphries has been removed from the rotation. well...i'm not being too serious, but these two are likely to drop first. Lee playing the 5 with Poythress seems to be coach cal's bench rotation.

Is that a compliment? If not, sorry, that is a very classy sport coat. If that was a compliment, then yes, it's "pimp."
I hate those kind of sport coats, but different strokes for different folks. I will admit that it probably cost as much as my wife's car when it was brand new. [laughing]
