Man. 2 great teams playing like they want it. I still think we win it in the end but Wisconsin is fighting their tails off.
Wow. Played not well. They get 85% of loose balls, score on off. rebounds. bounces go their way....and we're tied. If we rebound like we're capable, and the bounces/luck even out, I like our chances.
7 Off rebounds to our 1 off rebound that is the game in a nutshell and they scored it seemed off just about every one of them.
I think Kentucky would be up around 10 pts if the off rebounds were tied right now.
60% from floor and tied and we have to feel lucky to be tied.

I hope our depth comes into play in the second half. Wiscy lucky to be tied with us. Missed oob that led to 2, walk by Decker that = 2, the drive by Aaron that should have been an and 1. That is 6-7 points in favor of the badgers.

OK. Coach Calipari needs to make some critical adjustments for the second half. Going to have to get more rebounds and score more on the inside. Defense played better, except for the last shot there before half-time. Got to do a better job on there outside shooters. Going to be closer than I hoped, but I think UK will get this under control and do a better job in the second half. If we can get a 9 to 10 point lead, I don't think they can come back.

Every 50-50 ball went their way, and we took so,eg stupid shots and the game is tied. I will take it.
Except we CANNOT be in that position at the end of the game. This team won't miss that last shot. We need to pull away, and I think we will. They looked pretty thumped there in the last 2-3 minutes so I'm hoping our depth just wears them down.
And we need to drive the lanes and even do a little inside out to pop some threes to loosen their packing the lane.
This game is going to be close till the last 3-4 minutes, Wisconsin is going to run out of gas, they looked tired the last 4 minutes of this half, we're in good shape, Wisconsin is playing as good as they can, we will pull this out by 7-8 points,
If I'm a UW player, I think I'd be a little down in the locker room right now. 9 point lead gone. Bounces go our way, etc, etc. I'd think we should be up by 5 to 8.

I know ND and Wisconsin have great offenses but man I'm really shocked at our inability to defend these teams.

Definitely cal is talking about hustle plays at halftime, guarantee 2nd half we will get 75 percent of those
Definitely. They are playing at a physicality and pace that they are just not used to. They'll probably have themselves another little run in the first 8 or so minutes of the 2nd half because they are a decent team and I think Dekker is just saving himself a bit. But if they were feeling heavy legs already with 4 still left in the 1st, then they might start to lose it earlier than most teams have - more like around 8-10 left.

They have no more reason to be down than we do. We won't shoot 60% in the 2nd half. It is possible however for them to improve on 46%. If the game plays out the way it did in the 1st half we will lose for sure. UK has to turn around the effort on the boards or it's over. The rebounding not only this game but the last 10 or so has been appalling. Time to start one and outing them on defense. No 2nd chance points from here on.
