Ugly, ugly basketball. Inconsistent calls as well, but that is expected with Big XII officials. This and the next 3 are VERY winnable games for this team even if they are overrated per Orlaco. But they are winnable if you play hard like the KU and OU game. Phoning it in against the worst in this league can get you an ugly loss.

Texas looks awful, and they lead 28-25 at the half. Huggins will be in peak form in the locker room.

It is worse than hard to watch. It is the worst I've seen WVU basketball play in years. There is just no flow offensively, and our defense is even worse. Only reason we aren't getting beat by 20 is because Texas is that bad, too.

The most frustrating game of the season for sure, Texas obviously doesn't belong on the same floor, we unfortunately just don't have it tonight. You can't beat anyone when you're shooting like 10% from 3 and the FT line

Just because a HR hitter strikes out, does that mean he should bunt the next time up or take a swing for the fence? Got to keep shooting IF YOU HAVE AN OPEN LOOK.

We look bad, but the Big XII refs need to justify hitting Paige with a push off offensive foul, which was legit imo, but then swallow the whistle on the exact same infraction the very next possession. It was blatant and in isolation so it's not like bodies we obstructing the view.

Exact same thing I was yelling in my living room. But if you notice on Paige's call, the two closer officials did not make the call. It was the guy all the way across the floor....the same guy that has made the same calls all night.....

Welp Texas finally put together a stretch of competent play and shut the door. That really sucks, a lot of big things go by the wayside with this loss. We go from in the conversation for a Big XII title, 1 seed, maybe a brief #1 overall ranking to probably in the 4/5 seed conversation. We got work to do

Probably because he dominated our press and was the key to the game. I typically hate the other guy on the other team who causes us to lose.
