Destroying tools used for mass surveillance is the kind of civil disobedience we should all encourage

On January 1, 2024 there were 440 flock cameras in the US.

One year later that number was up 10x to 4,511

In January of this year it had increased another 12x to 54,072

And in just the last 8 months it has ballooned to almost 129,000

They are building a surveillance prison in realtime at lightning speed and anyone trying to convince you this is a nothingburger is either grossly incompetent or a very bad actor.

Wait. So flock can be used to track everyday citizens, but ice can’t use it to track illegals?

Thats really fuсked up.

A Florida man found a legal loophole to block a Flock surveillance camera using a 12-foot-tall protest sign.

77-year-old Carl Gunn legally blocks a Flock license plate camera in St. Petersburg, Florida, by sitting on a public sidewalk and holding a 12-foot pool skimmer pole with a “DOWN WITH FLOCK CAMERAS” sign. Because he remains on public property and never touches the equipment, police confirmed his protest is lawful.

I guess I should have returned to this thread sooner. I just saw this video. Infuriating! That cop was such an arrogant prick...guilty until proven innocent? WTH!

Sounds like a good way to end up in a database somewhere. Kind of like 23 and Me is a front to get as many DNA profiles into a searchable format

Nvm I see the devil beat me to it.

Flock cameras should be banned.

Florida: the Free State turned Surveillance State.

Flock cameras seem to have no trouble getting funded, while our parks struggle to get basic repairs.

Now there’s a Flock camera pointed at the entrance to the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management Area.

Soon, there won’t be anywhere in Florida where the government isn’t watching you.

Welcome to the Surveillance State of Florida.

A question for the 2nd Amendment firebrands. If the government has this type of tracking capabilities how is being loaded with a personal armory going to help you? I would think those who are against a national database for gun ownership might also have a problem with this tracking situation.
