lol, Ray Lucas is going NUTS!!! Said he's never seen a QB make that throw when your right next to the sideline. To those of you who said he looked the part during summer practice and was clearly the better QB, I call BS.

Even if he did look the part in practice, practice isn't the same as facing live fire from a P5 DLine.

It was the same with Nova. Elway in practice, Gino Smith type results in game. Flood is blinded by practice results. Cant see past it.

The fact that we are only down a TD at the half is a small miracle.

Great job by Federico who everyone hates on.

Here's the problem. Yes, Laviano has been shaky, but where's the running game? That's been largely absent, too. Down 13-6 at the half is a huge win, psychologically. I'll take it for now and I'd put Rettig in with Laviano limping and struggling.

Well the hurry up worked a bit there maybe we can see more of it in the 2nd half. Might help Laviano get in rhythm. Only down 7 at half considering the struggles on O isn't bad. D has picked it up some.

Both our lines are playing poorly. the Dline especially. WSU QB has so much time.

I think with Nova you can make the case that the alternative wasn't as good either. Laviano isn't as physically talented as him and we saw what Dodd was, but I think sometimes you just have to rattle a players cage. Let them sit on the bench for a half and think about things and maybe it helps them.

They that was the most daring play calling I have seen from Rutgers in a long time (not just taking a knee with 46 seconds left in the half).

How do we only have 6 points at the half against this putrid D? Decent eams will be scoring 30+ on the reg against them

YES! i was 100% confident we would take a knee. boy am i shocked.
I think it all depends. Flood may lean towards the conservative but I think he takes his shot in spots. Here we were struggling and needed some points against an offense that could break out at any time so he went for it. In a game where that's not the case he probably would have sat on it. Case by case basis. Same for 4th downs where you see him go for it a decent number of times over his tenure too.
