Welp. I'll eat crow. I thought there was no way in heck we should have nominated Trump...that the only way this race would be close was if we nominated Trump. I was wrong. It isn't close.
I know a few of them make a living out of being jerks on here, but I don't get where the hubris was coming from most of the rest. I was really trying to understand myself, but was I was definitely not confident in Trump.

If Trump hangs on and wins big, I think you just have to call it like it is. Kamala is an absolutely horrible candidate.
I would rather this not turn into a right left conversation. Keep it focused on the numbers coming in. There will be plenty of other threads for the banter.

Huge mistake by Kamala not picking Shapiro in PA as her running mate.
He’s a grade A jerk at times, but not a bad guy. It’s part of his TI charm.

I can’t believe he’s performing like this. I truly thought Haley could’ve easily won and didn’t think Trump had much of a chance.

Hopefully Democrats bring up any irregularities so that we can address them. We all want fair elections
Dems can blame Biden for running through the primaries. Lost all credibility at the debate when it was clear he had been propped up.
Also heard Chuck Todd talk about the Dems treating Hispanics as a separate group and trump treating them like all others he was courting. Thought it was an interesting point that shows the flaws of identity focus over policy and economy for all. Wouldn’t have expected trump to unite some of these groups.
But again, the dems tried to force a candidate on the country and that wasn’t well received.

Yeah I saw a tweet regarding the Hispanic thing where they were like, “But Trump wants to deport you!!”
Uh yeah Hispanic citizens aren’t a huge fan of illegals.
I don’t know how big of a deal the primary thing was. Sometimes the primary winners may not be the best general election guys. But I don’t think Kamala resonated with people. It was more of just a vote against Trump.

It’s not only HOW he is performing, it’s WHO he is performing with …. young voters (GenZ) and minorities came out HUGE for Trump.
