Optics of that were horrible, too. Joe will recover from that, without more fiasco, but that was bad.

Is optics the new nothingburger?

If Don Trump would stop this beyond silly joint session SOTU speeches, he would win my vote. Why are we still doing these?

***** about how the Dems always talk about meaningless things like Trump sniffing like a cocaine addict, or Trumps wife not showing up with him.....then talk about a makeup miscue like it matters.

Trumps wife didn't want to go half way around the world for 3 days. Big freakin deal. I don't care what some body who's related to a known woman killer, Ted, lecturing me what we should do as a country. Freaking rich spoiled kid living off his great, grandfather's ill gotten gains and marriages to add more wealth to the family coffers.

Yet Trump did it all on his own, right?

He's talking about her not showing up to the SOTU speech with Trump, can't blame her.
I don’t care if she did or didn’t....it’s just funny how hypocritical people on the right are. When they win my over in their message, they do the opposite soon after.

Sticking a Kennedy in front of a wrecked car looking like he is slobbering... what's your first thought?

As much as I loved JFK, I think he should earn that spot. I didn’t see the response yet. I just know the Dems have no leadership at all. I could care less about his makeup malfunction, and I’m surprised so many on the right do.

Not what my first thought was. Maybe you're too young.

She was there. How they get there is by secret service, not that they have to ride together but there are protocols.

Yep, he did. You guys have TDS, he took an gift from his dad and made an empire. In the time of the "MeToo" movement, I would pick someone who was not part of the biggest womanizing, abusing family in history.

Gift? $40+ inheritance, ran daddy’s company and built his personal worth

I’m not knocking his ability to play monopoly well, but he was dealt a much larger amount of money than most at the table.

It would be the same as your parents giving you $2,000 dollars and you building it into 200 million. Did you do that? Do you even have the ability to make real wealth? There are way more examples of people squandering inheritance than being a success.

I wouldn't spend too much time lionizing Trump. If a prosecutor had all the time and money they needed to look into all his business dealings, Trump would likely be behind bars now. Every read about the house in Florida that Trump sold to a shady Russian for millions over what it was worth and the Russian never set foot in it? Trump is probably guilty of money laundering on numerous occasions and I've read where he has/had ties to organized crime. So wipe your chin off and carry on....

Why did a Russian pay $95M to buy Trump’s Palm Beach mansion?

Was there Uranium under the property? Did Obama endorse the deal? Did Obama and Hiiliary get kickbacks? More importantly, did trump pay taxes on the sale?
