I guess so.....

I always felt like there was a tiny glimmer of hope that monty would turn the corner and we would have a decent season

This just feels different.

Thats how depressing being a Tulsa fan is these days. Missing Monty bc the new guy is even worse.

I am not quite sure why people are so upset about this game. I mean, I LOVE High school football don't you?

One drive doesn't make a 3 year starter, but there is something to be said for simplifying the offense for a freshman walk-on (I think he is a walk-on). The rest of the team can then focus on doing a few things very instead of multiple things poorly.

He chose his QB. He recruited Pressley (probably at significant NIL expense) who has turned in a dud season. There's a number of others, but those are probably the most significant in terms of lack of production and salary $'s that could have been put to good use at other positions.

You are definitely right , I was trying to make a reference to the Tulane game where we looked dead in the water , then Davis went in

And you bring in Braxton to hand off? Misdirection to have the defense focus on the QB keeper?

Worst play call for a 2 point conversion I think I've seen in quite some time. Obviously you're limited in terms of playbook options in this situation, but if you're just going run an ISO at least put Braxton in to threaten one more defender than the Walk On.

Says a lot that a coach would put in a freshman walk-on over the pre-season starter. Almost have to with the way Braxton’s body language has been though. Looks mentally cooked. Like Chuck Knoblach level lack of confidence
