Briscoe is such a god damned ridiculous layup maker

Defense on the outside is about 50%, post contesting D is about 25%. Briscoe getting in the paint at will, SKJ is actually playing tough D on the outside on willis and Willis has no clue what to do vs it (so he's the same as last year in that aspect at this point). SKJ wants that position obviously. Fox is very fast (surprise) and quick reaction on D
Have to restate that Briscoe can get to the rim any time he wants, he's so creative with his handles and has a back up for his back ups back up move if you stop him going one way. Practice must have been tough today and this week because they look tired. Bam still running the court great (Hump can't consistently keep up with him). Hump being aggressive attacking the glass even if he's follow dunk was goaltending. Half time blue team is up 10-8

They looked exhausted, but it was still nice to watch them practice and scrimmage. I'm excited for the Blue-White game
He is. Teams sagged off of him last season and he still found a way. If he keeps shooting as well as he has in preseason he could have a monster year.
Blue team wins 25-21. Briscoe has 15 or 17 (not sure which). I kept track of his because he faced the most real defense the whole game and scored in the half court. Can't stop saying "he gets to the rim any time he wants). Only a light scrimmage but I expected more out of Willis

Really, really excited about this team. So much talent!
Honestly the only things I have taken from this and the combine ( as you can't take much ) is how much better Briscoe's shot looks and how much better phyiscally Hump looks as he has always had skill but wasn't in shape . Just those 2 differences make us a a top 2 team IMO with the insane freshmen talent.
Hell, I am well over 60 yrs old and it has me wound up like a spring!
I always get depressed watching the blue/white game. We've lost every game as far back as I can remember.
BBM looked exciting and fun plus 24,000 fans..Was watching

Even in that little bit we saw I was thinking the same thing. If he just plays with energy I think he will get more minutes than I thought, I actually think he may get as much or more than Wenyen since he's more skilled and bigger.
I think while the team struggles to score early consistently Briscoe will pick up the slack, I see a lot of free throw shooting in his future. If they called fouls he would have finished with 20 in this game (had 15 I think) and that was only 10min of basketball

Absolutely no question who the leader of this team is after watching.

Naw, Willis is going to start, play all 5 positions and make all the threes. UL ismyman said so.
Briscoe is gonna be a monster. Impressed with all the freshmen. Hump hawk and Willis are gonna be solid too. Should be the best defensive team in the country too. Can't wait to start blowing some teams out..
