If Cal doesn’t play Big Z more, I’m going to be so upset!

Haha. Hard to find anything to be upset about today….. but I really do believe he’s the missing piece. We aren’t going to morph into an A+ defensive team at this point. Just play B defense and A to A+ offense and win.

Z gives us a whole new weapon compared to the other Centers

Is it more than just point per possession? I figured the SOS might go into the total KP ranking.. but D and O metrics were just purely PPP.

Defensive metrics might not change much.. but having a 34pt lead over the #1 offense, should count for something on our defense.

I'd say we'd have to improve in our defensive numbers if this holds. Keeping the #1 offense well below their average is huge.

Bama is also #4 in the NET, and I believe it takes into account margin of victory so we should make a nice jump there as well.

Just checked they were predicted to put up 1.17 points per poss vs our defense.

Not sure where they are at but it's nowhere near that lol

I got about 63 possessions so far in this game. It will be close and depending on how well we defend during garbage time lol

The adjusted numbers SOS is factored in but that shouldn't really factor things too much.

They were predicted to score 88 in 75 poss based on our defensive ranking and their offense.

This has actually been pretty decent defensively
