Oregon/Maryland won't get over until after 6 pm CT.

Less than 17 hours later, the winner plays Iowa.

I hate morning games. But...

What in the name of all that is holy is going on with Oregon? I checked the score and could not believe they only scored 12 at halftime. That has to be some kind of record.

IOWA had a 2-4 start in conference play.

Then they won 6 straight.

What happened to that 7th place (at the time), 18-5 (8-4), Iowa team?

The next game, on Feb 11, was at Maryland; we owe Maryland some pay back for that disaster.

Koch, Howard, and Folgueiras 3 total points. Combs had only 4 points as well. That's what. :(

Real danger time tomorrow.

MD will be coming in already knowing they have nothing to lose and confident after a blowout win this evening as well as knowing they can beat Iowa, seeing how they did in the last meeting between the two teams.

At the very least, I expect a solid effort by us. Anything less will be cause for severe anger and frustration.

This is the standard game plan for all B1G games, but .........

Gonna need to play tough D and do best to build a big a lead as possible at the end of the first 20 minutes for a buffer when the guaranteed whistle changes in the 2nd half - IE, when everything that wasn't a foul in the first half will change into one after halftime.

I mean this could go both ways..what happens if they got beat in all their close wins??
Brilliant insight there, pal. It's always good to have a genius on the board to point out the obvious errors in the cognitive processes of lesser beings.

But hey, what if the Indiana football team had lost to Iowa and Penn State? Asking for a friend, of course . . .

The point of my post was to point out how close Iowa is to a far better record than what it actually has. And I didn't even mention the ISU game @ Ames, another game Iowa could have won. I was taking the glass half full approach. Obviously, there are those who prefer the glass half empty. You're welcome to it. But my original point remains. Iowa was pretty damn close to a spectacular regular season. Sorry for mentioning it and ruining your day.
