What a complete garbage half of football. Dickson should relieve Monty at half time.
Refuses to relinquish the play calling duties when he's as pedantic as an elementary school text book.

Dane Evan's is the only TU QB to ever do well under Monty. Of course he is getting paid to play professionally and Monty made sure most those others didn't even finish their college elgibility.
It’s pretty clear that they’ve done their homework and know how to scheme Tulsa into play calls that will not make the line to gain over three downs.
The cockiness on the sideline at the beginning had turned into frustration, which is causing penalties because they don't have discipline. I'm pretty frustrated but I've somehow managed to not throw beer cans at Monty the last 4 years, so if I can keep myself together, so can they. Also, what's on greens face? I didn't see it
Nope the number one sign of a bad coach is bad discipline, in football it most often shows up in penalties and in turnovers. In particular dumb unnecessary penalties, good coaches won't let their team beat themselves, good coaches force the other team to earn the win.
To that point:
Tulsa 5 penalties 63 yards, 2 turnovers
Right on pace for that 10 penalties 100+ yards and 3 turnovers per game we have averaged for the last four years.
Tulsa offense 103 yards. That's a whole 43 yards positive, thank goodness they have turnovers or we would be down 24-0

He looks like Harley Quinn with white diamonds painted over his eyes. I like Green IV. He always plays hard and with passion. What he wears on his eyes isn't the reason TU sucks tonight... The run game is pathetic and the receivers have hands of stone. Cant count on Zaven to score ALL your points every game...
Smith has to get the ball out quicker. We are really lucky he wasn't sacked 3 or 4 more times.
Josh johnson needs to sit. 3 drops already. Get your head in it. Looks like a completely different team then the last 2 games. It's like Monty was absent the last two games and now hes back. Yeah, ECU is better then people on here were thinking, I knew itd be alot closer then some of the predictions, but we are just playing terribly. Smith looks like he hasnt thrown it in a month, secondary is trailing the wrs on every throw, cant get any pressure, just bad all around
Accountability. You get dragged into a crap talking session with ECU and you don’t care about football. Helluva gameplan.

What do we have to be cocky about? We are one game above .500 and we haven't had a winning season since 2015. Maybe our coach should have them focused on being hungry? Just maybe he should have used the start of the game to straighten that out before we got dumb penalties?
Sorry I am just over the excuses. Its Monty, that's the problem, that and nothing else.

I wasn't making excuses. Being cocky is bad. Confidence is good, but not cockiness. That comes from the guy in charge. The leader. The HC in this case.

My halftime adjustments: tape Collins ankle and send him in. We missed him a lot in first half. Give Smith the first drive & put in Brin if we don’t score a TD.

Or that our CB who has NFl talent thinks it's ok to continue a play after you cross the out of bounds line, after a whistles, and give a team an extra 15 yards and first down?
