Cracraft gets redemption for last year. This game really shouldn't have been close except for a superman effort from Janarion Grant. Jury is still out on Laviano with his terrible turnovers, and in essence Flood too.

Who missed the INT on that first pass of the last WSU drive? Even if he knocks it down, they would've had 25 more yards to go. Heartbreaking loss. Heartbreaking.

I was thinking that it goes from an end right then and there to instead them getting the best outcome of that play and then having a game winning drive.

With the exception of Grant, that game was absolute, total, disgusting pathetic vile trash.

We lost 4 players on D. 2 first string and 2 backups. Can't blame D coord for tough game against a leach offense that can put up #s. Going to take time to get D up to speed. Hope sooner rather than later.

Fine, we lost some players on Defense BUT how do you explain away over 100 yards in penalties? That is the most horrific stat of the game and tells us so much. How the hell does that happen?

Let's revisit that thread where everyone thought we were looking at an 8-9 win team. There's always next year... and the year after that...

I was hoping for 7-5 and that was BEFORE the secondary was arrested. Right now 6-6 would be a dream.

Why is this doomsday? It's an awful loss but just look at Wazzu as an example: terrible loss last week, everyone is saying their team is destined to be downright awful. Now they pull out a big win.

Basically, one game will not define our season. Saw some really sh!tty things today that need to get fixed, but also some really great things that we can use to our advantage. Let these kids learn from their mistakes and come back 10x stronger next week, and the week after, and so on.

Unfortunately, when all is said and done, I do not believe Wazzu and the rest of college football is going to look back on this game as a "big win."

We lose to Penn State since we will have no pressure on the QB. Supposely our strength of the defense
Hamilton was the difference so he can chestbump on the sideline but HCKF thinks we need to save him for next week...we shoulda had him there today..we ain't winning next week anyway if were anything like today....Hackenberger will chop us up....i'm so disgusted i may tape but not watch next week. How much of this garbage does J.HERMANN think were supposed to endure. Maybe by next week i'll feel better.

Again. Doesn't make sense to judge team on one game. First game we absolutely destroyed our opponent; second one we lose by a few inches. I'd say that is more of a positive outlook that anything. Is it good to lose? Never. But I rather play tough this game, see positives to use and weaknesses to correct, and move forward than get bombed. Even the best teams struggle. If this keeps happening, then yea it's serious. But it's one game. Chill out, put it behind, and focus on the very beatable opponent we have next week.

6-6? Wow, I wish. I saw two 3-9 teams on the field. At bad as we are, Wazzu wasn't too much better.

Wow 6 winnable games and we just lost at home to a team that lost to Portland State. I do agree that we will pull a couple of wins out of our butts, but I think it's gonna be a long season.

And WHY is the Coaching Staff not teaching the players not to Use Hands to the Face ???
I watch numerous CFB Games and it is rarely called.

It's been called on RU every game for the last 2 years. Sometimes twice per game.
