Can we really not run against this defense, or is Frost just wanting to work on the passing game
How do Morgan and Spielman get open so much? They are the only 2 receivers we have that are any good. You'd think defenses would make our other receivers beat them.
So far 27 passing attempts, 23 rushing. I expect Frost to run more now and that will even out
Frost spreads it out through his sets and how he runs the ball. It makes it difficult for teams to double cover a guy he wants to target without that team leaving something else wide open
JD is obviously one of two guys that can catch the ball regularly on offense. Is there NOBODY on this team that can field punts instead of him?
nice little catch and run by Warner. His blockings been good since he started, but now he's more confident getting the ball and getting yards, I think
Illinois probably has a better offense than either of the next two teams... but their D is much better
We're gonna miss Stan. I hope he performs well at the combine. If he catches the ball consistently, he could be a solid #2 WR in the NFL, assuming he runs in the 4.5 range
Frost has called a great game, but IMHO no reason to be passing there. Run some clock.
If NU loses this game, I'm going to go full-on Mizzou fan and spend 20 years being butthurt about the ball being illegally kicked!
