Man, would love to! But, we have team tennis this afternoon at 3. Sigh . I was inspired too because at our class potluck this week our host - who said he’s allergic to wine - had a very impressive bourbon collection including an unopened bottle of Pappy 23 year.

To answer my own question, yes this is a thing. It involves select football games as well as MBB and WBB conference games.

This season, in football, PSU has three “Rivalry Series” games:
- 10/10, USC
- 11/7, @ Washington
-11/28, @ Maryland

Hopefully, PSU does better in the 2nd Rivalry Series game than they did in the 1st.

I should add, the 2026-27 season is the 2nd year of the Big Ten Rivalry Series presented by Venmo.

Parenting does impact one’s schedule more than anyone realizes, until they are a parent. And it’s worth every minute. We’ll enjoy the Bar if and when you find a game where you can open it for business. I’m just wondering how all the lovely servers are handling the lack of business from PSU fans this season.

Settling for a FG is an epic embarrassment for Washington.

PSU forces a 4th down in the red zone.

Washington with a 29-yard FG,to make it 3-0, Washington, with 8:18 in the

13 play, 65-yard drive by Washington.

Washington has only scored on TD on an opening drive all season, but sure looked like they were carving PSU's D up until the stoppage.
